If you do have a disease, its not the end of the world, but take it as a new beginning. Treasure each day as one where you can make a difference and live it to its fullest.

I am saddned to read your account. Since you only discovered this last week probably the STD was brought about by a recent sexcapade. If you can remember correclty when and where, that is was it in Geylang, Desker, Petain, KS or any such place or better still the girl herself, it might be useful for us samsters/cheongsters/hamsters/tortise(...sorry getting carried away) and the like.

Thank you for reading. I may not know you personally, but I hope you will grow stronger as a person and also in your love for your GF.

Hey fungrapes bro, did u go to WL or FL? how come u got herpes even with condom on? can share your details so the other bros can share the knowledge? thanks

Condoms do not protect against Herpes and Warts. This is because transmission can take place via parts of the genitals that are not covered by a condom.. eg the base of the shaft of the penis and the scrotum.

I have posted many messages to spread the word that condoms do NOT provide 100% protection against ALL STDs even if they do not break or tear.

Do a search for "Herpes" in the sexual health issues section. There is already loads of info there.

But than again if the person had gone to had a WL instead of FL, chances of getting Herpes is slim I guess. Probably due to the medical check ups, it would have been deteced on the WL.
