What's your cheonging budget?

Yah be careful not to spend on credit and those line of credit offered by the bank...knnb...now i kenna struck with 2 banks with outstanding line of credit totalling $7,800...i tot do balance transfer to take advantage of the other bank lower rate will save me money but now I find myself saddled down...I think and analysed through and damn...it is due to my anyhow spending...that's why my real income savings drop...so LL, have to take out my bond investment to clear my line of credit and will never take it up again...hate to be in debt. cheong also no fun...knowing is on borrowed money...

Imagine the following cost:
a. HC- entrance $36, FJ $100= $136
b. KTV- 2 gals, tips total $100/-, Chivas= $330= $430

You cheong HC 4 times a month and KTV 2 times a month and total spent will be $1404...what abt upkeep of car, house maintenance fee, food...sigh...

Finally got a chance to come back to the forum, only found myself being picked apart by detectives here! Talking about starting a fire only to burn oneself!

No lah! me only an ordinary office worker loh. let me propose a low-budget scenario for the activities listed above:

FL: cat 40 in GL or petain--$40;
TN (only go HJ)--$30 + $50=$80;
HC: $136;
KTV: tips $100 (other expenses on company account).

In the end, the total is only $356.

But 10% of my salary is a lot for cheoning, as I have many other expenses lah. I'm foreign worker, so no CPF, and need to save for retirement, which is closer than you think. Also no HDB, have to pay a bloody fortune for a condo. Bonked too much in the past, so have many illegit children to support all over the place My OC also check my finance regularly, cant show a big whole with no explanation lah.

What to do? Have to cut down on expenses.

Yes I agreed never spend on your credit card for cheonging best is to use hard cash. No money than stop cheonging for awhile it doesn't matter. If overspend on Credit card than will be in deep deep trouble.
As for me I alwasy use hard cash to cheong KTV. No cheonging budget for me I will go as and when I like to go. For the past 6 mths I hv been going to KTv for at least 12 to 15 nights a mths. Maybe is because I love KTV lah

Wow, 12-15 nights a mths! That must be more than 1.5k on KTV alone! You're a premium spender! I wish I got that kind of money to spare

Le ai impliment simi?? Scheduled trips to KTV? Unlikely to succeed knowing your style. Sounds very achievable hor??
Picture this... Instead of cheonging 3 times a week you now make it a point to cheong(at most) 4-5 times a month to know the no of meimeis you need... then have your fun away from the KTV scene for the next 2-3 mths. Based on past statistics, I am making the assumption that you usually get 1 target in one outing (say 4 targets in 5 sessions?) and your short interest span of 2-4 weeks per ger (so 4 gers gives you 8-12 wks span?).
Maybe you can make your trips more efficient like some brothers here.. eg. sitting with 2-3 gers at one outing then you might achieve more head counts in 2-3 outings. At a glance, we have now reduced no of trips to just 25%.. Massive savings in $$$. CLAP CLAP
Here's my weakness... I find the toughest DISCIPLINE here is not controlling the no of visits to KTV(although I must admit having friends like you makes the task a lot more challenging!) but to PREVENT the 'savings' from being drawn into the tipping pool. More often than not additional tips make the gers happy which equates to better bonks or more bonks... Quality or quantity... always a difficult decision to make. Bad cos your entire exercise is to save money... And after a while (few months), the NEED for VARIETY creeps in and I revert to the old self again and I come back with a vengence???? This time MORE visits => harem increase in size and this eventually equates to a lot more $$$$ spent!!! Damn scary man...

Poor me, haven't even been to DC yet. Went there on a Friday nite a while ago, was told no ktv room, not even a sofa seat in the open area. This place so hot mah? Must go there to see see. Maybe will bump into you lah!
