To become Thai citizen, you must stay in LOS minimum 10 years continuously!! ................There is also some uncertainty whether the 10 years minimum for citizenship starts counting from the time you get PR, or includes the 3 years for PR, i.e. is it 10 years or 10+3 years? I don't know the answer....................There is a cartoon in one of the books about living in Thailand showing a young guy who goes to the immigration office to apply for citizenship, then another picture shows the same guy getting his citizenship, but he is an old man with tongkat already!!
So forget about getting Thai citizenship quickly or easily.
OIC, so its not easy to get a thai citizenship.
But in my last post I was mentioning more on why maybe bro sg69 wanna gif up the spore citizenship, in terms of being able to withdraw out all the cpf money which otherwise will still be trapped in the cpf acc. even when reached 55 yo.
Of course lah, for sum1 who is cash rich then this consideration is not applicable. But how many sporeans can be so?
I also considering maybe migrating to china at old age (if I can survive till then), cos by then, the nationality dun matter much to me liao cos not going to travel ard the world, but more important, how to live thru the old age at a lower cost.
dont be mistaken... 4-6K SGD. my apologies if i got you too excited.

he already said 4-6kthb for "second set of wheels" . Only the spare tires lah....
4 to 6K SGD 2nd hand honda jazz/clt, i also want. please intro.
read... dont browse. i said 4-6k for a set of 2nd hand set of wheels.. not the jazz or colt.
don't like that leh... at first u say 4-6k thb for fine set of wheels... later u'll say $4-6 SGD but not so fine.. maybe breaks down once a while.. u car salesman or insurance agent huh?
Foreigner buy car can loan boh? If can, minimum how much downpayment?
hehehe
SC
Can take loan of course!!
But ONLY for those holding work permit/PR leh.
Downpayment can be 15-25%, all up to you.
Some brands car like 'ford and B&W', even give 0% interests loans to buyer.
(can only happen in Thailand)
I PURPOSELY bought my 2 brand new cars (total 2 millions bahts) under my name and then put my thai wife as a guarantor for me. (Pls see my rules no:1 & 2 on investment in Thailand).

stop your nuisance. its for 2nd hand set of wheels... in aussie terms, its called "the bomb"... a ride that takes you to garage more often than your intended destinations. dont know what gave you the idea that the jazz/colt falls in this category
read, dont browse and start your blabbering here. better still, lead the others on and making fools of yourselves

i remotely mentioned anything that implies a fine set of wheels. dont know how you ever equated the term to the jazz/colt...? the former sentence ended with a full stop punctuation and the latter, suggesting errand running small cars.

Aiya, anything also he say one. better dont go quote his previous post where he said 2nd set of 2nd hand wheels refer to jazz/colt... because that is the past already...

maybe singrakthai and me got comprehension problem ya?

Sh............
Is there a Balloon scheme payment?? out there,
where u pay 15-20% downpayment,60-70% during your installment period and last payment of 20% at the end of the installment period.
where we can refiniance the installment or use the remainder 20% as downpayment for another new set of wheels.
How about the vehicle insurance schemes, where bascially only the registered insured driver can drive the particular vehicle ( this is EU/UK practice) not too sure of Sg laws on this ..Is thailand the same as SG or EU/UK?? me thinking of driving some other person vehicle in Thailand.hehe
yah, nabeh, you have to pay in full. 1 bank (Government Housing Bank) said they may consider my loan application, but may only give very short term loan and not more than 50-60% of the condo price. they said now the hang zheng not good, they scared of non-performing loans. I have tried kasikorn bank, bank of asia, bangkok bank, all refused to give me loan. but if you become PR, they will give you loan.
if you buy the condo with a thai (e.g. your thai wife) the thai must earn at least around 20K baht per month, then the bank will give loan.
GHB is relatively a bank that pro Thais, Kbank is rather reserve if that project is not under their scope, UOB aka BOA and Bangkok Bank forget it. You can try Siam Commercial Bank and KTB. They are more willing to lend.

i believe i clarified, stating that i made a mistake: should have been 4-6k SGD. and yes, i think you too need to buck up... reasonable set of 2nd hand wheels does not denote... fine ride nor jazz/colt. indeed, you've got some comprehension problems.
just bcos you cant find such deals, dont make you any lesser a man. definately doesnt warrant you to go poking fun at other's posts.... dont know what you trying to prove? want to be respected as adults, but behaving like a bunch of pre-schoolers.
there are such deals around, and so what if i prove my point? you gonna fill the pot-holes on the less level roads??
