WHAT BAD NEWS ON A Saturday night really gonna miss the TN scene.
With this, a lot of people will turn to FL. This will in turn increase the rate of STD since at least some people who visit TN only opt for Hj/Bj, but for FLs, we usually go for FJ.

Govt cannot fight against market forces. The power of supply and demand.

There are many loopholes in the policies,not just on this issue, but on many others. Just happen that in this case, we have a fucking guy from Tampines who murdered the china gal and sparked off this action.

In fact, we should all curse and swear at this murderer, and boycott his stall so that he has no income to get lawyers. His action led to the domino effect and crush the whole TN market.

One of the loophole will just contradict with what the DPM W___ said. PDMM should be here just to take care of studying children.

I wonder did the govt screen the financial capability of the Chinese students before letting them in. For someone who can study in Singapore, in my opinon, their father should be earning something like 20,000 RMB (S$4000) in order for the kid to survive in Singapore. This means that the father is able to pay S$2000 per month for mother and child. I bet this is not what our govt is ensuring. Did they follow up with checks by social workers to see how they are doing? I doubt so.

Don;t the pdmm and child have to eat? And the rising cost of living in Singapore will not help much.

For some of us, we patronise such shop as we also pity the pdmm, and help them to survive. i actually sometimes gave extra to them so that they have more allowance for the kids. THere were also times I did not ask for extra service as I just want a good massage, and gave them $50 tips and ask if they need any help. I even teach them how to ensure that their kids pass their exams with good grades. Not that I can afford or rich, but I pity them.

But to be fair to DPM, I am sure he was given a scolding from the top brass and he followed by a scolding down his ranks for action to be taken. Very swift action indeed.

Clamping down on TN is not a solution. What is the root cause? Clamp down is just a wayang, for show only, to appease some that action is taken. But the problem still persists.

Solution will be to be stringent on giving social passes (but here we are being afraid of spoiling Singapore and China relations), stringent screening of Chinese students' family income before letting them study here.

Oh yeah, ask pdmm to work in factory getting take home pay S$600 per month,less rental S$350, less transport and food expense S$230, left with S$20.To buy tampons?

Oh yeah, stringent social passes for Chinese and the Chinese reciprocate with stringent access for us when we enter? We have too much to lose in our industrial parks in China.

Now my question is will HC will affected as these may not be classified as SPA. Are they? I cannot imagine HC with open concept!
If we legalise whorehouses in Geylang, why not legalise such TN and earn the taxes?

I just hope that this is just a passing shower and wayang show, and let it be over soon, and TN will be replaced by beauty house or nail manicure, with massage as part of the service. The gals in GL will spring out again. Or we have freelance work in apartments or hotels.

Is govt going to clamp down on Hotel 81 too? And catch intimate colleagues or secret lovers in bed? Who knows, we may soon have a regulation that 2 hr transit only apply for foreigners, not locals. At most I do it at home lor, or I book a 4 star hotel and share it with my cheongster bros, I mean each of us use it for 2 hrs each for our rendevous.

LIke I mention, no one can beat market forces because Singapore can be considered as a semi regulated though supposedly free market. For those who study economics, you will understand better. Looks like we need people of higher calibre in the ministry and PF. They need solutions, not short term wayang.

Lastly, what I find ugly about some of my fellow Singaporeans, is they think so highly of themselves. Look at the news. Some of them openly condemn such shop, showing their despise for such masseaue and call them as chicken.

Well, there is still a very very very very very very very long way for Singapore to reach a stage of graciousness. I do not feel apologetic for the govt for its failure to make Singapore gracious since the days when the tall SM was PM. In the first place, is our govt gracious enough and lead by example? I have former classmates who are now working in the ministries earning superscale salaries, and I don;t feel like talking to them sometimes. As if I am earning less than them which is not the case and we both drive the same BMW models, somehow their eye is way on top!

Sorry for this long thread. For me, the shut down of the TN does not affect me as I travel frequently and there are always many choices but I am just worried for the future living of the pdmm.

For once, I sound so serious in the thread.

Very simple. These pdmm will return to China with their kids as they cannot tolerate the cost of living here, hence creating a talent drain, and give the govt another set of problem. The pdmm have often given the hint that they will do so if need be.

If they work in factory or restaurant, they can never survive here. Don;t forget, as the kids grow to JC, the cost will just spiral up,especially if they want to go to University.

In the long term, we will have a mass outflow of pdmm and young future talents (aka leaders) going back to China, and hate Singapore, and before you know it, our next generation of leaders will have a hard time getting things done in China.

You see, it is a domino effect. I have yet to analyse how other sectors will be affected. But trust me, how the agencies do things is they implement action to cover their backside, repercussion on other agencies or ministries not their business.

Good luck to them. Not coordinated enough.

anyway, do you think those gossiping aunties in AMK will care about the repercussion? They are just too pleased to see these pdmm go back to China.

Anything happen in future, they will push to govt,say it is their fault.

they won't go for shopping centers with HC / Tunias ..this is what I gather from my AV and police friends. FYI : AV and police *AFTER* office hours also go to HC ...


However my suugestion will be try to get PDMM tel num so that u can f*** them in hotels, rms, etc ..otherwise if tunias center are closed, u not able to reach them.

I guess these affected PRC gals will move to Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. to work in the massage parlours. There are already alot of PRC WLs in these neighbouring countries ...

err,unlikely loh, because as per what the news said, all Massage joints need to be licensed. HC may not fit into the spa category. HC have closed rooms.

Perhaps next time we will have Bugis Spa, Dragon Spa, Youth Spa, Joyful Spa etc.

Bro Apache, I fully agreed with your points .......... those kids who went back China will always remember how our government and critics treated their mother here ...................... juz need some of them to be the higher official when grown up, it's Pay-Back-Time !!!

Economically wise, I am not an expert to comment but for sure the rental market will plunge if thousands of PMDD decided to leave Singapore and indirectly affecting the whole property market ......... ......... So Serious ??? I really dun know but juz my humble opinion. Juz imagine, thousands of PMDD left with their kids, rental market; retailing and even Telco would be affected ............. juz my humble opion

Yeah, having 500 shops empty suddenly is a big problem for the property market. They will result in a net loss of nearly S$1million of rental income per month.

But anyway, govt will not care much as this is the tenants' problem and not theirs. The drain will not affect the Tem__ Holdings property arm, which target at bigger fishes and property.

In the end, we people suffer, that's all lor.

But somehow, sillypore will not dare to offend China, as Sillypore is just too small. It has to sway with the winds of the US and China. Having future leaders (from this batch of kids who return to China with their mum) in a future China will not be helpful to Singapore.

Anyway, if words like our gossiping aunties calling these Chinese ladies as "chicken" go to the forum in China, I believe it will have a detrimental impact on Sillypore. Maybe lead to a boycott of Singapore!

What happen to our Mediacorp censor? They should have censored such comments.

The two outlets in Marina South have already renamed to Dragon Spa & Executive Spa since a few years ago. And Casanova D' Spa as well ... Perhaps all these H/Cs have to implement Aromatherepy as one of the allowable programs in the menu to make it sound more genuine & decent spa like Ardana Spa (in Paragon) & St Gregory Spa (in Raffles, Plaza, Novena Square & Marina Mandarin hotels) ...

Yeah, he doesn't need this extra revenue as his monthly remuneration package as a DPM is much more than a middle management executive of 5-8 years experience earns a year. Awesome rite? Thats why a lot of foreigners (including alot of Singaporeans) cannot understand and/or accept as to why the salary of the ministers has to be pegged to the top 5% income earners of the country ...
