I have been into every single little bars in NanA ( including ladyboys bar,yes )and frankly speaking, most bars are not even worth going except for the rainbow bars. Why would I say this??
For a tourist, time is a important factor. They do not have the time to go into every bar in NanA to eventually find their LT girl for the night. Most of the other bars had little to none good looking girls there. No doubt occasionally you will get 1 or 2 gems there.
Think about it, stepping into a bar without plenty to choose from, and paying a drink there. That would set you back 1k baht ( app 6 bars )from the many bars you would patronise.
Why people go to rainbow bars? Because at any one time, you get to choose from many SYTs ( although I do not find any SYTs nowadays myself,but that just me )
Why pay 3000baht for some not so good looking girl when you top up 1k and get a syt? Personally brought many people to rainbow bars and some of them even have difficulty choosing one there. I cannot imagine bringing them into the other less popular bars.
Maybe it's just myself but I feel since we are here in Bangkok to enjoy, might as well get a girl we really like instead of trying to get a girl within our budget. Who does not want a pretty girl and at a price we all want?
Speaking from experience, the girls who would go at 3k baht are the ones like you said, less frequent BFIned and not really pretty or body wise.
For frequent travellers maybe yourself, you have the time to step into the other bars and hunt for gems. But if you are just here for a enjoyable trip, people should just stick to rainbow bars.

But I agree with you, Rainbow 4 is a good place for a quick pick-up if you get the most pretty girls...until they adopt the Baccara prices (I've already been quoted 2.5k ST once there).

Try going at 930pm. A good timing as well as go on Fridays,Saturday,Sunday as most girls will come to work on these days. No doubt there will be more customers but I have known that the girls normally go on their offdays normally on mondays n weekdays.
