Re: Vietnam - HCM
Da Lat average temperature is 17°C, and does not exceed 19°C in the hottest season. Early mornings, the city arises to mystic fog over the lake. Da Lat is renowned for its orchids, roses, vegetables and fruits. There is a nascent wine-making industry. Da Lat is also a good place to golf. Dalat, also Da Lat, located in the South Central Highlands of Vietnam, was originally the playground of the French who built villas in the clear mountain air to escape the heat and humidity of the coast and of the south Ho Chi Minh City. Dalat: "Le Petit Paris" Dalat CountrysideDalat's high altitude (1500-2000 m) and fertile landscape make it one of Vietnam's premier agricultural areas. In fact, in markets as far north as Hanoi, vegetable and flower vendors will tout their "made in Dalat" produce. Most guidebooks describe Dalat as a cheesy town popular only as a local honeymoon destination with tacky sites. The good news about that description is that the town is not over-run with tourists like some other cities in Vietnam. The bad news is that the description is not entirely untrue. There are tacky sites in Dalat where local honeymooners go to get their pictures taken by photographers, but Dalat is surrounded by some of the best mountain biking, hiking and canyoning opportunities in Vietnam. Getting there from Ho Chi Minh City, the bus ride is also about 5 hours. Da Lat is also known as the little Paris in Vietnam. |

Re: Vietnam - HCM
The distance, travel time and best mode of transport and cost from HCMC to
1) Dalat by Vn air return ticket from HCM is VND800,000 appx 2) Nha Trang by Vn air return ticket from HCM is VND1.1m appx 3) Danang by Vn air return ticket from HCM is VND1.5m appx 4) Hue by Vn air return ticket from HCM is VND1.5m appx If you are traveling by bus from HCMC is about 5-6 hours to Nha Trang appx. Transport in Vietnam Vietnam offers a host of wonderful places to see with a variety of things to do. The good news is that getting to and from all those destinations has never been easier. Vietnam Airlines operates inexpensive flights to major destinations at least once daily. Cheers |

Re: Vietnam - HCM
for dalat.................
there's realli noting to do there..... abit like genting..... so its best that u go with ur vn gf =P enjoy the romantic moments and the weather (solo or a group of guys is highly not recommended =P) i think by plane is the best....(provided no foul weather) unless u wish to take a rough 6 hrs taxi/coach ride from hcmc which i would not recommend =P |
