Anyway the facts are clear signs....
The stupid commotion surrounding the Yankees are unsettling the teams and Rafa too.
Do hope they can put it aside and get on with the game.
Tough match coming up against West Ham.

Agree with you on this. As long as we keep on winning. But then why is winning getting so difficult ? Especially since even supposedly to the weaker teams? We use to be invincible at Anfiled but now not anymore.FACTS DON LIE.

Bro thanks .I'm cool about it . Its just that sometimes when we are are suppose to win, we draw. Clearly a strategy simply doesn't work. Just look at Arsenal and Man U and even Chelsea they have been winning almost every game. Until now we are out of the title race. We also have to look over our shoulders to see if Everton or Man City are going to catch up for the 4th sport or not? As a die hard Liverpool fan I like to see our team winning every much and give Arsenal and Man U a run for their money. Like to see them sweat for once.Clearly things are not going well for the Kops.

Despite the other factors affecting Liverpool , Liverpool should be professional towards their game. They should prove to whoever investors that this is the place for them to invest in. But having said that , the Hammers are no push overs. They also have been doing well. mark my words , Rafa is going to make at least 5 changes. Result could again be a draw.

Bro you sound like a sensible and intelligent guy and everyone here has also suffered the long lean years of Souness and Evans when we played worse, won hardly anything (and there was no rotation to blame).

I have no problem with criticising Rafa or the players if there is a real case for it - e.g. if Rafa goes 5-4-1 again. But I do it on the basis of what I can see and can point out as evidence. You can't do that for the rotation argument (or at least haven't).

But I always support the team from the standpoint that whatever we fans do has a massive impact on the players and the club. If we support right, we become the proverbial 12th player. If we don't, we put undue pressure on the players. That's why I have a beef with the rotation argument. You are telling every player who is rotated into the starting eleven that he is not good enough simply because he didn't play in the last few games, that he is bound to perform poorly. You might not intend to do so, but that is what is bound to happen. The players are also human, and get affected by these doubts coming from their OWN fans.

I ask you to join me and others and get behind the team. No shite about rotation or Rafa's beard. You can write a thesis on that when Rafa is gone. We are walking through a storm right now. Get behind the players and the club 100%.

One of the worse players to ever don the Liverpool shirt.

But i think that 17 million pounds is too ex for a defensive midfielder ie maschernao, anyway, Alonso can oreadi do a good job. better to spend the money on another striker or attacking winger.

Alonso doing a better job, no offense but I feel Liverpool has seen the best of Alonso...Mascherano reminds me of a certain Mick Mills...tackle with bite and don't hold back..Alonso maybe becos of all his fantastic long range goals but his passing game seems to have lost its edge...

I agree with you that Alonso isnt playing too well this season. But with his spanish connection, and Rafa around, i think its unlikely he will be sold. And if Liverpool buys Mascherano, then there will be duplicate players in the same position.

Rafa may end up either to play both of them together, which has been disasterous so far, or do his fav trick - to rotate them. Then we know what will happen to both of em, they will just lose their shape and form due to inadequate games.

But i agree that most likely Rafa will buy mascherano as he wants to stay at liverpool.

In an interview with Radio 5 live's 'Sportsweek' programme, Liverpool co-chairman Tom Hicks

There's a lot of speculation about whether you will complete a £17million deal for Javier Mascherano. Are you prepared to endorse that transfer?

Absolutely.

hopefully we will sign him soon....
