Bro have you following the pre-match news? Torres just recovered so he wasn't risk, especially with Inter match coming up. Reina is always dropped for cup matches, especially if the opponent is from lower division. Gerrard was rested with Inter match coming up. And the starting 11 definitely is not a weaken side. They are good enough to beat Barnsley. Just that so many chances have been created and not converted. And like you said credit to Barnsley too.

Possible. A manager can only do so much if he does not have trust-worthy support from his able staffs. Bill Shankly was good because he has very good side-kicks like Paisley, Fagan etc as backroom staffs.

I never said anyone should go bro. I don't judge that on the basis of one defeat (if that's the case, most of our players need to pack their bags already).

I think it's fair to say we didn't play well over the 90 minutes. And this is part of a bad patch we been having past two months. Every team will suffer from loss of form and confidence, whether they are rotated or not.

Instead of finding someone to blame all the time, why not give Barnsley credit (especially their goalie and captain) for coming to Anfield to fight? Their winner was quite fortunate but their mentality was there.
