Just imagining each and every part described by you. If anyone would direct this as a movie, that would be a great hit. Kudos to you bro...Waiting for more.

Re: Story: The Invitation
Time: Monday morning
Venue: Office I slept through the whole Saturday, almost the whole weekend as I was simply too exhausted from my exertion on Friday night. The modelling at Elaine’s fashion show was cancelled as Elaine was too upset to attend the show; hence I was not needed then. Good for me as well, as I might not know how to face Phoebe so soon. Nothing happened much for the weekend, except for a couple of sms exchanges with Mark, asking me if I have had a good time with Elaine. I only replied him with a smiley face. I couldn’t possibly tell him I had my best fuck in my life with Phoebe, my sister-in-law, when she was dead drunk. Today starts just like any other Mondays, but I know this will be an eventful day. I am just waiting for the phone call. 9.15 am *Ring ring* The call I have been waiting for. With a deep breath to calm my anticipation and excitement, I pick up the call. “Morning, Wilson speaking.” “Hey Wilson, do you have time for a chat in my office?” “Sure Stuart. Will be there in a minute.” Of course I have time. In fact, I have set aside the full day just for you, boss. 9.17 am “Hi Wilson, come, take a seat.” I take a seat at the sofa, perpendicular to where Stuart is sitting. His room is big enough to put in a leather sofa where he usually entertains his VIPs. Seldom do we have a chance to sit on the sofa. Usually we would be seated at the chairs in front of his desk or just standing up. I feel privileged and important today. His room is huge, right at the back of our office, away from the main area. His is the only room that is not openly visible with the full glass panel. The top dog is just different. “Wilson, what’s your plan?” “You are referring to?” I am just acting coy. “Of course it’s that George. The more I think about it, the angrier I am. I am sure you have a plan against him.” “I do have a plan, but would need your help.” “Great, I love working with smart people like you, Wilson.” I lean closer to Stuart and tell him my plan. 10.05 am George goes to Stuart’s room for a lengthy discussion. 11.20 am George comes out from Stuart’s room, back to his own room and calls his team to his room. 12.30 pm Most of my team is out for lunch. George and his team are all furious at work, pouring through reports and scanning through numbers. I shut down my laptop and go for a good, long lunch. I know they will still take some time to complete the job. 2.05 pm Back from lunch. It’s about time. I call my 3 trusted AVPs into my room. “Team, this is a highly confidential move. No questions to be asked. Just execute based on my instructions. Clear?” “Yes boss.” “I want you all to start accumulating the shares of XYZ. Do it in small parcels, from the clients’ individual accounts. Each account do not utilise more than 10% of the assets under management. And do not trigger the threshold alerts to the MAS and SGX for each account.” “Wow boss, I heard a lot of positive news about XYZ. They are holding a press conference after the market closes today. But the price is already driven very high. You sure you want us to chase after the price?” “Mich, no question. Trust me. Do it. And do not let anyone else know other than the 3 of you. You all have 30 minutes to do it, no more no less. Stop all action at 2.35 pm sharp.” “Ok boss.” 2.40 pm I have been monitoring the computer screen intensely over the last 30 min. The market darling counter has been on the top 10 volume list since market opens. With my team sweeping up the counter, the interest in XYZ is getting heated, as shown in the volume and the price rise. 2.45 pm Stuart walks into George’s room and they are looking at some reports and the computer screen. Stuart leaves the room. George gives instructions to his team to take action. 2.55 pm It’s obvious that another big player is sweeping up the counter. 3.30 pm The counter is shooting up the roof. I tell my team to start releasing everything we have accumulated on XYZ, also to be completed in 30 min time. 4 pm The counter is still going strong. We have released everything we have on the counter. 5 pm Market closed. XYZ’s stock price is at a record high. 5.15 pm Watching the CNA update on the press conference. XYZ announces that they are going to list one of their fully-owned subsidiary and the listing is going to give a huge boost to their top and bottom line. Fantastic news for the counter. The stock price is expected to rise even higher when the market opens tomorrow. George’s team is high-fiving each other. 5.20 pm Michelle walks into my room. “Boss, I manage to squeeze a bit of information from Esther. Their team has been accumulating the XYZ for the whole afternoon. What a waste that we let go too early.” “Well, no one can predict such things. It’s good enough that we have made some tidy profits for our clients as well. There will be other opportunities again.” I pack up my stuff and leave for the day. |

Re: Story: The Invitation
Bro Hardaway 1818,
By far, the best and most intense story I have ever read. All the plots, twists and turns, + the narrative nature of the individual events is just so real, so easily pictured in front of oneself to fully absorb the full atmosphere of the story... Great Job!!! |

Re: Story: The Invitation
Intense stuff bro. Didn't even hold for a day. I'm guessing Stuart tricked George's team to buy when it's high
