Yes, I believe and understand the emotional stress and pressure in a "deal" like this. However, I also believe he understood and accepted it which is most important. I also believe he is strong in character to control and adjust his lifestyle accordingly. That's why he survived in this marriage until today. One thing for sure, maybe "no one can appreciate the pain he has gone through the last 16years"; but am sure he would not understand how very very very difficult an ordinary person struggle to make ends meet and bring up a family too. Honestly, I would sacrifice myself for the sake of having the best for my children then to see them suffer without financial support. I know how is like as I was very very poor when young. I saw him alone sitting there. We chatted like old friends and you can see his rolex and diamond rings. He said to me, "(calling my name); money is the ultimate happiness, without money, everything is fake".

What u said is so true in our material world..... So sad but so true. Maybe need to become a monk to forgo all material thingy before we can see life again.

Not so bad an extend till being a monk lah. Monk are also human, who are all bound by attachment. Also, we are speaking about survival in this society. So, is quite impossible to forgo "materialism" which is a fact of life.
