Actually they got no evidence to charge NBG except for Cecilia's statements and affidavits so NBG's chance of acquittal is very good. I personally feel that this Cecilia is showboating in court to help NBG as the prosecution's case is based on her evidence and if she can mess it up then NBG got no case to answer.

Totally agreed. Cecilia is just a chess play by CPIB. They don't hv strong evident to prove him wrong doing. Imagine she hv to made 10 statements under investigation, and prosecutor choose the best one to produce in court.
I think she is the most innocent person in this case, as she hv been under public to exposé all sex encounter with NBG. She gain no benefit at all, whether if NBG being charge or not.

Ond day,I was reading a newspaper in a coffee shop at Geylang. As a Head of a govt department, he is still an employee, a public servant. How much was he monthly income that he can afford to rent a high end apartment, probably at 10K a month. and left it empty. Great World City is nearby to his favourite playground. The niteclub he frequents is just within walking distance 100m down the road.

With the profits coming in from the equities market NBG can afford to throw the money on the rental apartment.

A few months before he was transferred out from CID, NBG and several high fliers in the SPF were called in by the CPIB. The investigation focused on their share trading activities.
