I have brought up this matter of police body camera to a bunch of Lightning clan MPs who were at the hawker centre this afternoon.... they referred me to a plainclothes bodyguard in their group who is a senior police officer for further discussion.

Apparently it is still not made into law for the use of body camera and so its use is discretionary by the police officers. Currently now the SOP is for uniformed police officers responding to incidents to use the body camera and specialized units like the CID have their own camera teams. Other units have a choice of whether they want to use the camera as it is not compulsory so that may have been the case during your raid. And yes we the public can also record the police going about their work but if there is a complaint lodged against the police.... then the IO will seized the recording device or SD card for investigation purposes (and the police officer was smiling cunningly when he told me this part).

Make copies is not foolproof as they can demand that you produce all copies of the video..... it is better to upload into the media first before letting them have the video as by seizing it for investigation could have double meaning.
Once up on the net it is impossible to censor or police it so the truthful version is out there.

In normal circumstances dont be hero, however, the real reason of no heroism is because if u insist on being a hero, frankly speaking is AV cant break her as in cant find a valid reason. Because totally no evidence at all, no permit means no evidence she is working at the ktv, so infact if the girl is smart to outtalk the avs and if customer willing to play along (being an alibi in this case). Avs hv a mighty tough task to send her back, as every girl they send back they need to hv a report n if reports show she has an alibi or evidence of a bf, it would be ridiculous to send her back.
Normal report will be customer a, b and c says this girl is working there a this ktv and she admitted working there and she is caught there. So this is a confirm to ica to send her back
But if reports show no customer says she is working there, in fact, guy A says is his gf and happen to bring her for drink. Then no reason for ica to send her back.
N i believe Abs do hv kpi to hit and they r bound to hit their kpi so they put out all sorts of nonsense to anti heroism

Hahaha.. For one I will not want to get myself into trouble because of FL.. what they earn easily 3 folds of what u earn per month.. up to individual opinion, some got bad experience with police thus whatever things happen will link to police, instigate anti police action..

I go cheong pay $ yet I need to risk myself to protect her? I must pray that the FL is firm enough to denial whatever av ask n not to break down.. If I put down my statement n insist that the FL is my gf n I bought her there to chill n sign it however, in the other room the FL already break down n tell the truth, will I b charge / warn / detain further till 48 hrs because what I put down is a false statement? even end of the day, I'm let go without anything.. how I gg to explain to bosses, client why I couldn't b ctc for 48hrs? cmon.. Worse if u have wife or a real gf.. Telling the truth is not to let the av have a easier time or let them reached their whatsoever kpi easily.. Is for one own convenient.. FL come n go, this FL go, a new one will come..

Bro, I think is nothing to worry about.. but just make sure the FL with u is above 18... n cooperate .. I don't see any reason they need to find fault with u.

oh jus to share a real experience.. 1 day the whole group of us went to 1 viet pub in JC, each of us get 1 FL, drink, touch n hug.. so 1 of my friend get a very young looking gal.. End of the drinking session, we all book the FL out to F.. Almost 2,3 months later... my friend was pick up by av. cause the FL is 17.. n knn my friend go exchange ctc with her so the av track him down, plus the FL honestly told the av which date which hotel they go.. my friend at 1st denial but with the FL providing evidence my friend can't do anything but pg to get lighter sentencing.. he went in for 3 weeks for having sex with minor.. U tell me, do u wanna give a false statement for FL? I not saying to frame ppl up in order to go Scott free.. jus tell the truth.. to me is "if u wanna work FL, u know 1 fine day of ur luck is down, u will kana av.. Cannot blame the customer telling the truth... "

Regarding your friend matter... What can I say, he is just out of his luck, man. It's better we take extreme precaution when engaging with any syt. Yes, statemements should be tally, i mean if u were to help the girl, most prob u r in some form of relationship with her.

Its only a matter of what crime and to what extend then they would do that.

For vice, its one of the lowest form of crime as in this instance there are no victim.
Customer r willing, ladies are willing(most or all of them willingly come to sg to work in ktvs or sex, dont really have those that r being sold to sg for sex slave).
Even for dome 1,2,3 or L. The girls willingly pay the okts a fee or a cut by helping them advertise and gettinn customers. So in fact, theres totally no harm and no victim in this case. The only thing is governmemt dont get a cut by that and so they catch.
