Bro, I tried with ESM GCT already.. 3x or is it 5x still fail.. =\ Get caught for working still got chance though.. Got a girl married in SG then got caught for working in KTV.. Got back to SG within a year..

Yup, I requested GCT and I myself in another, to put in the appeal letter I would like to put a deposit with them, allow her to enter for a week or so, to visit my parents and have a chance to show them she is a good daughter in law.. Still a template response..

Once I got emotional and tried to.. f them, saying why are you all so heartless, in a professional manner though, why are you guys sending a template reply when I am here begging for your help, to allow her back so we can resume our life, or at least tell us when will it be possible to, so we can plan things out.. They did use the template email but added in a "we read every appeal but unable to tell you the reason for the rejection..." sentence.. -.-"

Bro, it doesn't work this way for security deposit. Everybody can say they want to put in a deposit, ICA will reply with a motherhood statement.

Make the deposit bro. Just do it. If they reject, they will return you the money. You at most lose a few dollars in money order.

Bro Xyberduke, I searched online, I can only find it as, while applying for visit visa, they will advise which method to place a security deposit.. So it's like they must approve something before they provide a way to place a deposit.. Can you help show me where to get some instructions or something? Thanks bro..

Have checked ica website on it under visa section?

Usually they would have to provide letter stated approved in principle with options for deposit for government related such as WP or sp. Then once deposit paid, then given visa or permit.

I've checked.. And will try applying in person when I'm back in sg.. If not, it's by sg mission office.. Kind of like informing her home country of her wrong doings, which is definitely not something I need.. Lol..

I think you still do not understand how the system works.... it is not security deposit that ensures your appeal is successful..... it is something else more commonly known as......... DONATION!!

Go to your MP and ask for help..... he will follow the SOP and give you the standard template replies / assistance.

Instead go to your MP and tell him you are interested to DONATE a sum of money to whatever upcoming event the MIW is organizing and your appeal will be fast tracked..... and if your donation is sufficient...... surely will be approved.

This is the system in Singapore now..... Money talks !!

Nothing is free. LKY once said even the air that we breathe here belongs to him & the ruling party. KNN go to approach any govt dept to get things done and always kenna asked to contribute to either this charity or that fundraising project. Decline to contribute and you may have to revisit several times before your thing gets done. So lan lan have to contribute at least something so that things can be done and dun have to return again.
