Actually I have got something to confess...

I have fallen for a Relationshiip Manager in one of the less known banks locally..

i go to the bank frequently to do transacton for my own company and doesn't get involved with her at all.. Just that I am really interested in knowing her and hoping for a mircale to hppen..

i am sincere in starting a decent, proper, legitimate relatioinship with her..

U think u can help me with this problem?

I am avg looking, not exactly well to do since I just started business for only abt 1 yr and not much savings myself.. So, I need real good advice. hope u guys can help..

well, is she 1 of d RMs servicing personal clients???

if pers bkg, d most feasible n logical advice i can thk of is to pretend to b interested in a certain investmt product n perhaps get her to explain to u more. better still, buy somethg fr her so so tt in d future u can have more excuses to call her n get updates on yr investmts. slowly, u may try yr ways to get closer n b her fren ... then finding more abt her, eg if she's attached.

$$$ speaks. how much u invest may oso b crucial. if u invest say, $5k dunno if she'll want to entertain u much. u may want to try. if u dun try u'll never knw.

Agreed that $$$ speak but for nowadays standard, $5k too little liao. $20k or more, think is a better chance.

so financial expert here, wat do u think the minimum amount of investment and returns should be, will entice a female banker to go ONS with you?

I'm a banker and has been in 3 banks for the past 6 yrs....

Personally I think no amount of investment is big enuff as they're here to make a living. Of course they are stressed with sales target to meet. Even for 1 million investment, they may just get several thousand dollars (max) as compared to insurance advisor who are getting 3% of the investment amount on the average. So a better bet will be targetting at the insurance advisor or broker rather than RM. Unless they likes u otherwise IMHO u will not stand a chance as bank got plenty of customer base to do business with.

If u really want to try, get an insurance plan with them. Since it's a regular premium plan, it will gives u plenty of opportunity to talk to them even when the insurance case has been incepted.

I changed 5 RM over the last 6 months. Very fun way to service my term loan. Everytime I need an extension, I just bonk her, then pay off the instalment the following week, and put some $ into some investment fund, then request to change RM. Nowadays, I think the HR got set standard, all the RM the shape all look similar one.

Too bad, next month onwards I change portfolio already, not not dealing with RM anymore.
