Not really. They now offer rapid tests for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. Results out either end of day if you go in the morning or the next day morning if you go in the afternoon. Expensive but worth it for peace of mind imo.

Not that I want to stir up panic, but given the popularity of the ML in question you've got to ask how many of us have also managed to become infected and in turn infected other MLs, who then infect other Chiongsters including those who originally got infected and then got cured. The cycle of infection then becomes very hard to eradicate.

The "silent" STDs like Chlamydia and Gonorrhea are exactly that. You don't even know you have them. Chiongsters who have girlfriends or wives should try to go get themselves tested for their own sake.

Those who hadn't STD scares before won't understand.

I remember coming down with high fever and swollen lymph nodes not long after an FJ with a Malaysian HC gal. That was more than a decade ago when I was still a tertiary student. I thought: "Ho say liao, this time I struck the jackpot!" And at such a young age.

Still remember going to DSC for the immediate HIV test. Could literally feel the chill in the spine when it was my turn to get the results.

Luckily, I was cleared. Ever since then, stopped all forms of FJ with WLs. And my last BBBJ was in 2012. For responsibility and peace of mind, I had to do it.

From now on, I think I will avoid finding those BBBJ types to get a HJ. "Accidents" can well happen in the heat of the moment.
