I was now alone in the living room and soon Felicia and Pris returned, Felicia was holding onto Pris and still comforting her. Felicia lead Pris To the sofa and asked her to take a seat, before she turned to me.

Felicia: Eh Idiot why Jasmine like that?

Me: I also don't know. ( I really did not wish to comment much as Pris was still around)

Felicia: Don't know her lah, last time she don't like me also not like that.

Pris: She just don't want me here, she must think that I always cause trouble.

Felicia went on can kept consoling Pris, but the more Felicia consoled Pris. The more Pris cried. Pris went on about the slut issue again and Felicia telling her how much she understands how she felt. But I could only keep quiet, as I really did not wish to take sides on this matter.

It was getting late and I told Felicia and Pris to go back, I told Felicia to calm down as not matter what Jasmine was still our friend, Felicia nodded but from her eyes I trust she did not take any of that in.

The girls left and I still walk Felicia to the station, and Pris to the Terminal respectively. I walked to the terminal Pris after sending Felicia off at the station, Pris start talking me questions.

Pris: Yang, Don't worry about us.

Pris: Between Jasmine and me, I will get her number from Felicia and apologize to her.

Me: Did you really call her a bitch?

I was really confused at that moment, Pris to me now was this frail little lamb. I admit that I was leaning towards Pris but I just could not believe that Jasmine would react to her without any reason.

Jasmine: She came over asking me about you and Ann, I did not say much to her and told her to mind her own business.

Jasmine: Nothing, she starts asking me if I knew some people in school and place her arm on my shoulder before calling me a bitch.

Me: So you pushed her?

Jasmine did not say good bye but end the call with a ok, now I really felt that the group had totally split up in 3 Felicia and Pris in 1, Jasmine and Ann in 1 and of course Christina as 1.

I was vexed if I choose to stand one on side, I might lose the other. I can't help but chant out: Girls, Girls, why can't you all just get along.

I page Christina and she called back, She joked about me going missing. And that she was going to report to the police for missing person. I teased her about what she was going to tell them if they asked about our relation, she gave me It depends. If the policeman is handsome, then she will say it's just her dog. but if not handsome the BF lor.

I asked her if she wanted to have dinner with me, but she told me she already have a date. When I replied her Go lor in a disappointing tone, she told me that she was meeting her parents later. She told me she had to go as they are leaving for dinner soon, We hung up.

I was vexed over the matter and I now it appears I have no one to talk to, I flipped through my phone book, and saw Joanne's number and I paged her. I feel that I have left the past go, and especially after my relationship with current Felicia. To me I had overly reacted in the past, at least that was what I felt.

She called back moments later and we spoke on the phone.

Joanne: Lawrence you look for me ah.

Me: Yah lor, no one want to have dinner with me. where are you now.

Joanne: I am at home lor, Your GF Leh?

Me: She go out with her parents lor.

Joanne: Wah like that I am your spare tire huh.

Me: No lah, Eh you free or not I got thing to ask you.

I did not take a cab but instead I took 2 buses, and walked a distance before arriving at Joanne's home Which took me 45 mins.

I Press the door bell and the maid came running out, She smiled at me (I think she remembers me) when she was opening the gate. She looked around and turned to me.

Maid: Taxi?

Me: Auntie, no taxi.

Maid: Joanne say pay taxi?

Me: no, no taxi.

I guess she understood what I was telling her and lead me into here house, She shouted telling Joanne that I was here. Joanne came down the stairway and lead me to the dining table, the spread she had was a simple fare at least it seem simple to me. but there was this chewy black brownish thing, that I ate which I have never eaten before. I asked her what it was and she told me it was escargot, I felt it was nice and took a few more. Only to know from Joanne later it was snails!!!!

After dinner, We went to her backyard it was a area of a HDB room not big really, but I didn't have one at home, so it is was something new. they had this metal rocking Bench at the backyard and we sat on it. (this was the first time I rocked with a girl without having sex.)

Me: ok, I got a friend he always hang out with girls say 4 of them, then they fight and spilt into 2 groups. My friend ask me how to resolve, but I don't know how to answer him leh .

I entered Joanne's room, and it filled me with the memories we had here. I was deep in my thoughts, recalling all the silly things that happened here.

Auntie came in and place the glasses of water on Joanne's table and left us, Joanne was looked at me and I asked her what's the matter.

She told me that my friend will need to think about who he wish to be with more, and he will find the answer to what he wants. I had the feeling that she knew I was the friend, I smile and said goodbye as I saw here gate closing , She shouted for me to check my bag before running back into the house.

I found that envelope, the same one I returned to her.

On the envelope it writes: For your journey to and fro, Please use it, Joanne.

I did not use the money and took a bus back, as I really did wish to think about things. It was funny how the cold breeze could clear your mind, I thought of some things, and planned to find out the truth. but for this I need to find information from Felicia, and maybe a foe.
