1. As far as hotels go - depending on the type you are staying in (Business, 5 star, etc.) - some charge per person - not per room and also might have a strict no guest policy. This is the norm for business hotels.
Now if you are staying in an expensive hotel with a big room like the Hyatt - I do not see there being much of an issue. But you will be charged for taxi - and Tokyo Taxis are some of the most expensive in the world. The taxi cost of going across Shinjuku with traffic might be equal to the cost of a love hotel.

I can't say much for Ginza(I rarely go there) or Club Prezis(have not tried).
But for La Siora there are a few inexpensive love hotels with decent size rooms on the Eastern edge of Kabuki-cho. Some for as little as 2500 yen for 3 hours. It is close enough to their office so that no taxi is needed.

As far as registering in person - I did it in person in 1999 when the office was in the same building as the session rooms. I do not know how they do it today.

1. Personally, I prefer booking my own hotel and requesting her to come over. Of course, there is a taxi charge involved. Sometimes, depending on where your hotel is, this taxi charge can be just as expensive as checking into a love hotel (which by the way, usually offers day time discounts which can amount to about 50 or even 70 % off rack rates, especially on weekdays).

I see others already pointed out the more obvious issues so here. Your second question first.

2) normally membership gives you the abilities, like to book further in advance, with both clubs you normally can join on your first session. Just email there offices and they will work something out with you.

1) Taxis are both way, so if your in say Higashiaza and book with La Siora the cost for the taxis is going to say 3,500円*2. If your in Shinjuku and book Prezis expect something similare. Bro Calbts already pointed out hotel rates and occupancy charges which you might ensure, or the refusal of entry/guest policy's.
