Although not every Singaporean is capable of such position but that applies to foreigners too but I also realize some countries ppl like peenoy and burmse likes to cheat in their resume for example a 21 years old chap but with 8 years of networking experience lol... so they are telling me they had been working underage 13 years old? or do they count sufting porn online since 13 years old counted as networking experience lol...

Most foreigners are suppose to be here filling up position that Singaporeans dun wanna work in! not fighting jobs with us!! and that's the point.

If the Singaporean is not good enough, then I question the education that our country has provided. The company must prove that no Singaporean is capable enough to assume that role before hiring the foreigner. Right now, no checks and nothing is done to ensure that....with more foreigners taking up HR positions, Singaporeans will just lose out.

I think given that Singaporeans have served NS and worked hard to build the nation, priority should be given to the locals. Simple and direct. Nothing against the foreigners but this is our country and why should they be given priority?

Bro, average Singaporean will only go to level 2 or 3 for passport/BC/IC matters.
I wasn't aware that level 6 also like market place same as level 4.
But hor new citizens have voting rights like you and me.
Which one of them will be in the wrong frame of mind to vote against the govt that granted them citizenship?
And first 5 years, not to commit any crimminal acts in Singapore.

Been there due to some work recently so just sharing... Last time applying citizenship, dun care you applicable or not they just take the application fees $80(last time)~$100(now) to process, Now still so good they screen the foreigners/pr first before taking the application fees so that they won't waste their $$$ lol ..

How Singaporeans going to fight for the jobs with full of foreigners with degree mill holders? And as Bro Big_Sam said Singaporeans' resume had been intercepted by the HR & IT which seated by foreigners. Most of the country PMET jobs are protected & priority for their own citizens but only here is so different which giving outsiders free ride easily. He said this at the Interchange which was really crowded, " take a look around us, inside the camp it's pure singapore but when we are outside of the camp it's a different world out there."
Took me a sec to realise how true it was and that he's lamenting that this country is slowing occupied by non locals. Also can share his sadness that even though we sg sons are serving NS or ICT, protecting the country, we are being stepped upon by non locals in our own country. Are we actually also 'protecting' these non locals, some of whom are stepping on us.
So I truly agree with TS statements. We may be soft or nice but we ain't no pushovers.

Since we know that they are monitoring this forum for intelligence gathering and data mining, we can actually feedback to them through such forums.
