All entertain places (KTV, disco, gals, gambling) will close during fasting. Cannot even half open or open at night. The intention from JKT was for all entertainment place to close for a longggggggg time.

Casino had been closed indefinitely. 99% won't reopen. Even if reopen, it will be aleast 6-15 months later.

Check calender which date is Hari Raya Puasa, then count back one month. This period will be the fasting month.

Heard that the Waterfornt/Mandarin boss will try to open on October. Whether it will be successful is a concern. Mandarin has shifted to a new renovated place with huge investment with $0 return at the moment. Die, Die this underground casino will not just throw away their $$$$$$$$$

all the casino tables have been removed and burnt on national TV... thats a fact because the locals told me they saw it.

If there is such a thing as "underground casino" in batam.. would you dare to step into it ... and risk being caught and paying billions of ruppiah to the police !?

IPW Desak Kapolri Ungkap Kasus 15 Rekening Tak Wajar

Jakarta, Minggu

Kepala Polri Jenderal Pol. Sutanto didesak untuk secepatnya mengungkapkan kasus 15 rekening tak wajar anggota Polri kepada publik karena sudah lebih satu bulan kasus ini diserahkan Pusat Pelaporan dan Analisa Transaksi Keuangan (PPATK) tapi kelanjutan penanganannya tidak pernah dijelaskan secara transparan.

"Kepolisian adalah lembaga publik dan aparat Polri adalah petugas publik yang dibayar dari pajak masyarakat sehingga publik sangat berkepentingan mengetahui kebenaran dari kasus 15 rekening tak wajar anggota Polri itu," kata Ketua Presidium Indonesia Police Watch (IPW), Neta S Pane, dalam siaran pers, Minggu (4/9).

Menurut dia, sudah lebih dari satu bulan kasus tersebut ditangani tetapi Kapolri masih bersikap sangat tertutup untuk mengungkapkan perkembangan penanganannya. Bahkan masyarakat belum juga diberitahu identitas, kepangkatan, jabatan dan wilayah tugas ke-15 anggota Polri tersebut.

Dengan sikap sangat tertutup itu, Indonesia Police Watch khawatir Kapolri terperangkap pada sikap "melindungi" bawahan yang diduga bersalah, yang pada gilirannya bersikap "anti" pada pemberantasan korupsi di internal Polri.

Lambannya penanganan kasus 15 rekening anggota Polri ini, menurut IPW, memunculkan dua indikasi. Pertama, indikasi bahwa petinggi Polri memang belum mempunyai keinginan untuk membawa perwiranya yang diduga bersalah ke pengadilan.

Kedua, indikasi bahwa petinggi Polri belum bersikap mendorong aparat penyidiknya bekerja profesional, sebab data yang diberikan PPATK pada 27 Juli 2005 lalu sudah cukup matang.

Data yang dihimpun IPW, ke-15 anggota Polri yang memiliki rekening tak wajar itu terdiri dari tiga perwira tinggi, sejumlah Ajun Komisaris Polisi, Ajun Inspektur Polisi, dan Brigadir. Namun, hingga kini Polri secara resmi masih merahasiakan identitas ke-15 anggota Polri itu.

Karena itu, menurut IPW, saat ini sudah waktunya Kapolri membuka identitas ke-15 anggota Polri itu. "Kalau pun namanya belum diungkapkan, minimal pangkat, jabatan, dan wilayah tugasnya dijelaskan kepada publik. Selama ini, Polri sangat gampang memaparkan identitas tersangka kejahatan dari masyarakat awam. Lalu, mengapa Polri harus bersikap diskriminatif dalam kasus ini," katanya.

Padahal, kata Pane, tampilnya Jenderal Pol Sutanto sebagai Kapolri menggantikan Jenderal Da’i Bachtiar diharapkan mampu menjadikan lembaga Polri sebagai "sapu bersih" dan sekaligus ujung tombak pemberantasan korupsi yang selama ini dikumandangkan oleh Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
