Your timing is way out. The Airport Express to Kowloon point takes around 40 minutes. Then you got to take a free Airport Express Shuttle Coach to the RED MTR: Tseun Wan Line which may take you around half an half (plus waiting time for the Shuttle), from the red line you have to change to the green MTR : Kun Tong line to get to Kowloon Tong. Then you have to embarked on the KCR rail to Lowu. You will be lucky if you can arrived Lowu in two and half hours. If you are carrying a baguage .... There even more hassle. HK's MTR is alway packed. It's crazy ......Taking this route is defintely out of the mind.....You will be drained before you reached the SZ hotel. Don't know who recommend you to this route. There are many other better routes.

I would like to try the most recent introduced "sea route" which was started only last month.

Yes. HJ and DG now - dunno why, perhaps could be due to the Zhuhai incident - are keeping their HCs on the low.

From Shanhu, I was speaking to one of the managers; she told me that the girls have been moved to another floor for operation and all of them have "converted" to strictly massage only.

There were some last minute changes and I was to stay put in SZ and commute to GZ using the railway. Further, my last leg was to be in HK.

Surprisingly the HKIA->CTS(coach to Shangri La)->SZ approach was pretty hassle free, in fact quite smooth. The only snag was the waiting time for other passengers (wasted 20 minutes on some middle-east dudes and another 20 minutes stucked in the rush hour traffic). Total time taken was about 3+ hours.

Shang was the best alternative as GZ hotels were either fully booked or 3-times the usual price. By rail, Shang was only about an hour away.

Now that Zhuhai incident has passed, many joints are open again for 'business'.

Just visited Houjie a few days ago, the Shanhu 'zhuren' told me that everything is back to normal now. Well, I verified that.

In fact, these massage joints would never get raided cause they got powerful 'backing' from the military. They closed a few days after the incident cause they were scared some media people would come.

Well, that's what she told me, I dunno whether she's telling the truth or not.

From HKIA, I normally take the Airbus A43 to "Sheung Shui" then then KCR to Lowu...then a taxi to hotel in SZ. Total time :Less than 2 hrs..... This is the more efficent way I know so far.......

Some basic info I gathered from a recent trip to Houjie / ShanHu

I took taxi to and from Houjie.
Shen Zhen -> Houjie by taxi. ~80min (roadworks). RMB 260
Houjie -> Shen Zhen BaoAn Airport. 45min. RMB 160 (via a local)

In Houjie, main form of transport is via motor-taxi.
RMB 3 in the day and RMB 5 in the night.
For taxi, most drivers will ask for RMB 20.

For those who run out of cash, the Bank Of China ATM (VISA) is located
in and outside a shopping mall along the main shopping street,
opposite Sheraton Hotel.

Book via the phone to get rate of RMB 293 for standard room
and RMB 350 for luxury room.

Of course went straight to the sauna floor. Was approached by
a girl who can't really speak mandarin. And quickly a "Sanna supervisor"
approached.

You can ask the girls to be brought to your room (but must still pay RMB 190).
I guess it is better to use their designated rooms.
Room rate is for 2 hours.

The supervisor came to my room and had a short chat.
Went through about 10 girls and chose no. 100.
Next proceed to shower together. Was then followed by a short massage,
and went straight to "business". But the time we finished time was up.
But she actually stayed for about another 30 minutes in bed.

Overall:

Tips for the girls are at RMB400 according to the supervisor.

the "theatre" at 2F.

Entrance is RMB48 minimum spending per head. And you need to pay
minimum no of head according to the table. The smallest table is 2 head.
A jar of beer is abt 75RMB.

The internal is 2 floors high. Some of the private KTV rooms on 3F have
balcony opening to the theatre.

Initially (8+), the place was quite empty except for various tables
with groups of KTV girls. But just before the show starts, the place
was completely filled up, with family groups with kids as well.

BTW I was on a solo mission. After sitting around for a while,
was approached by a lady business manager (probably more commonly known as mummy)...
And she recommended to bring me some girls to keep me company before the show start
(show start at 2145 - 0000).

I found the show to be quite entertaining. With songs, dances, somersaults, talk
cock sing song, etc.... would recommend it, anyway the entrance isn't too high.

Any way chose a girl that manage to talk up topics that kept me interested.
And this made me to change my plans for round 2 of sauna.....

What a wonderful time you had inspite of yr short One night stay.

I have not been to this place for a while. When i was there last year, the standard price then in this KTV/theatre is 2-5-8 ie. 200rmb for siting 500 for a short time and 800 for overnight.

Any change in their prices ????

As I will only have 2 nights in GZ (18 & 20), was thinking of going to some pubs in GZ on 18th (maybe Baby Face as recommended) and travel down to DG-HJ on 20th. BTW, where is CHangping? SOrry but I'm not very familiar with the various district in GZ.
