What this bro said is correct. There is a risk in doing everything (even doing nothing you risk dying of hunger) in this world. The only difference is the level of risk in each activity and the reward you may receive by taking the risk.

Take note of the word "may". It means there are cases you get nothing after taking the risk or even worse, you end up with something lousier. Sometimes, the process can be irreversible. You just have to live with that for the rest of your life.
