I sympathise with your situation on drawing a low salary. Everything is expensive nowsaday and is indeed hard to survive earning this much.

But as regard to your case of being yell and abuse at work which you want to lodge complaint, dont be a fool. Do you think those higher level job like engineer do not get screw and fuck by boss too? Do you think you will not encounter nasty things in other company?

Rather than complain, might well learn how to avoid such things by being street smart and learn some people skill to avoid such things in future. I personally witness people who join a company and being 'tekan' by their supervisor but in the end they manage to become boss most favourite man.

Some may say I am earning well thats why I say this.
But think of it, your problems can be solved by money! there are problems which cannot be solve by even money will be real problems.
Don't be offended but you seemed spoon fed and living in a well cared environment till maybe something happens which causes you to think this way.

I would not say good man will have good endings as it don't always happen this way.

But ever wonder why are our salaries or income called "hard earned money"?

Because we are willing to undergo the hardship to see those colourful papers at the end of the month!!

when you commented earlier on jobs too dangerous and thats why you refused, I will simply think that you expect money to rain down on you.

you may think the world is unfair that those educated may earn easily 2-3k upon graduation and job advancement is always at hand.

But think again, you had the time to gain experiences to make up for those you lose out to others!

Those with high position in a company will earn high pay because they worked hard to get there and they are willing to make sacrifice and take up RESPONSIBILITY!!

I am a project manager but I will not tell you which trade, I earn a good pay, which i think i truly worked hard to get it.

To get here, i sacrifices my personal time to rush my works, and by accepting the position, it also means taking up the responsibility to oversee the millions dollar project (imagine whose head is on the board if its screwed up).

If you think its hard to undergo verbal abuse, you are wrong.
In business dealings, I would rather undergo what you went through than words with hidden meanings, answering to client with proper words which we must THINK before we say.

I believe you have a dream, we all do. Maybe dream of being successful? Think about what you want to do and love to do and focus on it.
Its good to have a dream, but don't waste too much time dreaming, use the time to fulfil it. You can do it IF you tell yourself you will.

Find out your strength and what you want to do first rather than finding jobs aimlessly.

Is your character outgoing? Do you prefer jobs that are outdoors or indoors? Are you physically strong? Are you able to take stress? There are many questions that only you yourself know the answer.
Once you have found out your strength and what you want, just go ahead and chiong all the way.
Earning little now doesn't mean anything. What most important is that don't give up and keep on trying.
Everyone of us have our own strength. Understand and use your own strength and you will succeed.

You are welcome, I think what you say is makes a lot of sense and I can relate to it....let's just say what TS posted would not even be call a problem when I struggled....giving up what you love (to do) and who you love is painful....

Anyway, I stop posting on this because I don't think TS will listen at all, what I think the most important thing for him right now is make sure his health and weight is resolved while also getting a job, at the end, even being a taxi driver needs to be healthy and fit. My good friend was telling me about his dad. Only 60 now, but suffering from Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, because while working as a nightshift cab driver had too much supper but never exercise at all.

Last time, I have tried very hard for my mentor to even accept me to be his protégé, but after putting up with all that, he took me under his wing and gave a chance to excel. I'm not in the same league as him yet, but he told me don't just be like him, be better; if I can do that, then it shows that he is successful.

So TS, here's the difference between you and me, you asked in your post here if any bro is willing to meet and help you, your approach and your attitude is already wrong, I quote the phrase my mentor always use on me, '我欠你的吗？’ By your statement you are 10 years younger than me, you have the advantage because you have the time, but it depends on what you do with it. anyway to TS, since you said you did security work before. I assume security work should pay better to be in Sales. One thing about in Sales, you can get the job easily but not everyone got that "mouth" to sell. Perhaps it don't suit you. What is your army PES status? You can try security work in Certis Cisco? Won't make you rich, but won't starve you either.

if I'm you, I will suck thumb to work security for 3-5 years, use the $1200 extra monthly as a capital (since you are already surviving on $700 now)
to start your own business. or use it for full time studies.
