Thanks all for your kind words and points, i'm glad that some of you are able to relate to my story.

Years have passed and i've grown more matured in my thinking... the occupation of Danine's husband which i will reveal later, isn't important... this can happen to anyone. What's important to me are the memories of this relationship with a special someone...

I'm in my mid thirties now, financially secured and happily married. One night in bed, I was thinking about my life that passed and also the relationships that i've had. I tried counting the number of gfs (official ones, not flings) that i've had before getting married and i stopped counting after 10... some of my gfs i couldn't even recall their names... (incidentally, i told my wife that i had only 3 gfs including her)

I wasn't actually lying to my wife, there were only 3 relationships which i held dear and will always remember... Towards the end of my story, you'll know why i continued this story after 6 years.

Lying on my bed, Danine cuddled closer to me and gave me a peck on the lips... she looked at me gently (probably figuring where this dude get his lines from)... With her pretty angelic face right in front of mine, i could smell her sweet breath, which smelled as sweet as rose petals... her expressive eyes tells it all, she was starting to fall in love with me...

As we kissed, the radio played out a nice slow song (which it's timing couldn't have been better). "You've come to my senses" by Chicago. I've never thought much about this song previously but it has since become one of my favourite love songs. Danine held me tightly as if to tell me that she didn't ever want me to leave her... With her head on my chest and my arms around her, we cuddled for what felt like an eternity as the music plays... We were definitely getting more emotionally involved in our relationship than we expected...

Twirling her long chestnut brown hair with my fingers, i was pondering about the feelings that i have for her... i mean i really do like her, she has a cool personality, she's hot and great in bed, i do miss her when she's not with me... but she has a bf that she's sharing a bed with everyday for god's sake... Will she be with me or her bf during Valentine's day? Christmas? Chinese New Year? Images of her and her bf started to cloud my mind... i know that i can't possibly fall for her.

Danine: yes (like she was expecting a question from me)

Time passes so quickly when I’m with Danine… I could spend my entire day with her and it was still not enough. She certainly was the type of girl that I wouldn’t get bored of fucking. Pretty face, long dyed brown hair, great body with long slender legs.

Another month passed… and even while we met every alternate day at my place, I was doing extremely well at work… I was in sales, didn’t join the company long but I easily championed the monthly top sales award, setting record sales within the company month after month since I started. My results seemed effortless to Danine and she often wondered how I managed to do it (Always told her that I do believe it was hard work combined with a natural affinity for sales – in short; I can bullshit pretty well). Because of my sales achievements, most ppl from different sales teams within the company knew me. (Just fyi Danine was from another sales team.)

At this point, no one knew about the special relationship between us, we kept our secret so well, everyone just thought that we were platonic friends.

Going for this incentive trip wasn't too bad... every weekend Danine had to spend time with her bf (he works as a regular in the army and sometimes have to stay in, booking out on the weekends), this trip helps me not to think and get jealous about the weekend sex that they'll probably have... i promised myself that i'll not ask her about her love making sessions with her bf anymore... At first it was rather thrilling, having our secret rendezvous behind her man's back, but i later realised the joke was on myself after knowing Danine better as a person rather than a piece of meat. Through the weeks that passed, without me knowing it, my self defense mechanism was slowly weakening against her.
