Apologies I digressed.
Now back to the 3 of us, the background our brokenness.

I will start it off myself. A heterosexual.
My background.

My first involuntarily sexual experience was a HJ performed by my neighbour when I was 11 years old, Pri 5.

I was cordial towards her because she was 24 years old, an adult woman.

My attraction towards her was an innocent one.
Liked her because she was pretty. That was all.

I can’t say for all but for me as 11 years old, the opposite sex has little effect on me then.

I was not aware of my own bodily reactions. Basically, a dumb ass.
I remember it was the March term holidays, one week in 1982.

As usual I was seated with my neighbours along the staircase reading comics.
Staircase because that was the only place, we can gather without adults interfering.

My family with low income lived on the 12th floor; it was HDB rental.

That day, same shit. We were seated along the stairs reading comics.

She was carrying groceries.

As she walked past me, I looked at her because her groceries were making those irritating plastic crushing noise.
Then a Chinese muffin fell out, Huat Kueh. It landed next to me, and I picked up for her.

I asked her if she needed help. She smiled and replied yes, I helped with her groceries.
My friends none of them noticed or gave a damn. Comics was everything at that age and big back then.

I always wondered if that were to be Adrian Lim and I got murdered, would any of my friends noticed and felt remorseful.

She fumbled with her keys to the gate.

So I carried for her as she told me not to place the bags on the floor.
We went in to her unit.
It was neat and clean.
Typical 80’s décor.

Those hippy beads-curtain at the kitchen’s entrance.
Wooden frame sofa with zipped cushions.
Lowered the bags and was making my way out.

She held my hand and said thanks.
As chivalrous as I could, I said she was welcome.

There was no sparks even though she touched my hand, liked I said I was 11 years old and a dumbass.
She asked if I wanted a drink or ice cream.
I did want them but was too shy to say yes.

So I said no.
She told me to come back again later if I wanted ice cream.
She said she has one tub of Mint Chocolate Chip, and she can’t finish.
I said OK. I didn’t think of any of it and left.
I didn’t return to her unit, that day.

Next day was a Monday the start of the term holiday.
I remembered because I got scolded big time for not doing my revision.

Done that swiftly and went around looked for my gang.
From 12th floor where i lived, i knocked at my gang’s door.
All got restrained by the parents for revision or homework.

Tried 13th floor, same situation.
So, try 2 more guys at 14th floor.
Both not home. I was pissed.

Tried 2 floors of doors and I was sweating liked a pig and angry.
I was also busy looking for any household that has a VCR and playing those HK dramas in their living room with window panes open.

Those days, u might not be invited into those household, but they won’t be bothered if u watched with them from the common corridor through the window panes.

These are HDB rental blocks built in the late 60’s.
Basically the lay out is a long common corridor with both sides made up of units facing each other’s by the main door.

There was almost or near to zero noise-privacy.
If u farted louder, your neighbour would hear it.

Sometimes when my neighbour’s mom was ordering their kids to wake up and brushed their teeth, I thought it came from my own mom!

So, I was opportunistic and feeling lucky.
Wondered the whole level but no one has their window panes opened.

As I was about to leave that level, that 24-year-old pretty girl from before came out of her unit and asked why I was loitering around?

Told her I was looking for my friends and looking for HK dramas playing through the VCR if any.
She smiled at me and ask me if I want to join her for Chocolate Mint flavoured ice cream.

I was bored and don’t want to waste my freedom, so I entered her unit again.
Again, if Adrian Lim lived there lurking in the toilet, I would be done. No one noticed.

We were alone in her unit.
She asked for my name, told her and she introduced herself as Ivy.

Let me describe Ivy to my best abilities based on memory.
She has shoulder length hair but tied up most of the times.
She was a bit of a medium build, was about 1.65M tall.
Me at 11 years old was probably 1.6M.

She had fair skin, smooth with no blemishes or acne.
Big round eyes. That was her sharp facial feature.
Other than her eyes, the rest are pretty much typical Asian Chinese features.

She has a rounded face, a slight chubby face.
She was not toned but more towards fleshy, slight plump medium build.

Thighs were of the not toned and slight plump type.

That was Ivy.
She has a rather low bass tone voice.
Beautiful smile.

At that time in my life, she has got to be the prettiest gal in that block, easily.
We conversed most of the time in Mandarin. She seemed to be Chinese educated.

Me only spoke English in school with my non-Chinese friends and teachers.
Other than that, I am your typical Ah Beng in the making, growing up.


She lived in the unit with her BF.
Her BF was local while she was from Malaysia.

According to her, the BF at that time was in Taiwan for a job training.
He was an elevator-technician.
He was going to be in Taiwan for training for 6 weeks.

Those 6 weeks was going to rock my world, in particular my sexual awakening in a big and hard way.
She worked as a seamstress at a nearby factory around our place.

Me at that age just can’t fathom what was so fascinating about a woman behind that could turn a grown man’s gaze in an instant.

Ivy’s was definitely tight, hugging and short.
This I remembered very clearly.

Can’t recall what we talked but it was small talk.
While we talked, her outer thigh keep bumping into mine.

I sat at the corner of a 3-seater sofa, I was trying to minimize my leg movement to avoid contact with hers.
But she just keep touching my thighs with hers in the most natural way and yet it was making me uncomfortable.

Moments later, I assumed she saw my facial expression that I wasn’t comfortable with all thighs rubbing.
She stopped, asked if I was okay.

Before I could answer, she asked if I was afraid of her.
I replied calmly no but I was intimidated by her and the fact me alone in the unit with an adult woman was quite overwhelming for a 11-year-old boy.

She continued that I should not be afraid of her because she likes me and would not harm me.
She went further and said I was her fave big boy in this building because I was handsome and polite.

I don’t feel flattered at all because when u were a child growing up, every adult u meet will say u are handsome boy or pretty girl almost like a muscle reflex compliment. No biggie at all.
So, all I did was answer, “Thank u”.

That was the only thing that would draw me to her, the smile.
I was 11 years old, innocent in the most perfect way.

Little do I know, my day of innocence is ending very soon, and the smile would be the catalyst for it.
Then she cupped one side of my cheek and said I was very sweet, and she planted a light kiss on my cheek.

Again, that was very common for me.
Having at least 12 aunties from my mom and dad’s side, getting a peck on the cheek is numb to me.
But that day, that moment I was betrayed.

Her kiss somehow has an effect that never happened before.
Logically, it was due to the fact she is unrelated to me and that I liked her and thought she was pretty.
Probably that was the reason.
