U are right Chinatown is $30, Lavendar, violet, sakura, joochiat all $20. The only other time that I get charge $30 was holiday eve. I thot only taxi got holiday eve surcharge. Transit hotel also got....I wonder when they will sqeeuze in a disel surcharge.... everything up only our pay never go up..

Confirm Changi81 rate $30 for 2hrs ... additional 1 hrs @ $15/-
(Changi is only recently up their charges.) Counters said BOSS instruction.

Others on the list ... so far no changes.

Eve of PH and PH will ALWAYS charge extra. This is a long time practice of Hotel81.

But one question bro, is Joo Chiat still offering transit rates? Thought the news said will stop.

If $30 at Lav 81, must be one of two reasons... you first time at 81 so charge you non-member rate, or it was Eve of PH or PH

Guys one point to note when booking when getting a room wif K81 is to remember when you pay the extra $10 for membership. Yesterday went there, they quote me $30 again. Told me could not find my membership there. Luckily i rem when is my first time and they manage to find it. Seems like their computer system cannot make it leh.

Something is really disturbing about your encounter bro. Sorry to hear about it. This should be the right way....

I myself first registered at Lavender81 with a $10 membership fee. That was 3/4 years ago in 2005! Since then, I've been to just about every single 81s north south east west of Singapore, hundreds of times, and not once after scanning my IC did they ask me about my membership status.

The $10 is a one-time membership fee to the Hotel81 chain. That means ALL the Hotel81s in Singapore!

And how can they "misplace" your registration, then manage to find it again? If it's in the computer system, it's in there. How can it be there one minute, then not there the next minute, then it's there again...

PS. Frankly guys, when I'm at Kovan I usually check into Frangrance. I find the staff at K81 downright rude.

I was told that the membership means that your IC information is in the computer so you don't have to fill out all the details again in the Blue signing in card. All I do is pay the $20 for the room and sign the card and get the key.

I have actually paid the membership at the geylang81 long time ago and when i frequent k81 they only charge me $20.

But recently when i check in to chinatown81, the charge me $30 and said the rate there has increase

I think they should have a standard.

If you are afraid of them tracking yr stay then just go to fragrant which is less hassle.

hotel tristar is the most expensive and the largest room that they have.
their minimum rates is $30/2hrs.
I knn $50/2hrs also once. Went there 1 time and left only the super big rooms. so boh bian took that.

As for dickson, the basement and non-bath tub is $20/2hrs
those bigger room with bathtub is $30/2hrs
