I miss the old staff a lot, especially Sinta.

I am not surprised. Lack of response also happened to me. And even if I get the confirmation email, I am used to call few days before going, just to be sure everything is ok.

Usually during the 1st 2 days,i will try to get newbie to familiarize with the surrounding,eg provision shops,eateries etc. Then its war time,hehehe...mapping and scaling out the area and let them roam on their own.

He is going to stay only 3 nights (Fri-Sat-Sun), but of course I will stay longer: 7D6N (I wished 8D7N, but the return ticket from SIN costed something like 1200 SGD more, if I wanted to return one day later )

Your proposed schedule is too relaxed for me.
Right on his first night Friday, I intend to take him to:
- dinner at Windsor to discover seafood and beer girls (they will swarm to our table to drink and chat)
- at 11am NoName or Square or some bar in Kampung bule;
- if we don't meet someone interesting, then maybe to Permata Indah unless PI closes early (is PI lively at 1am on Friday?? maybe no good girls still available), or to Planet 3, because I am afraid Newton would scare him off (Newton is where I meet my best girls besides NoName, but I am not sure what to do with him).

On Saturday, I think I have to take him for a tour of joints.
I want also to take him with my girlfriends (I am not kidding, my best friends can bring more for him) to Barelang and later to Pacific. This would be best on Sunday.

In any case, over-planning is not good. Better improvise in my personal attitude.
And, not negligible detail, he is older than me and is not a night owl. He might like to to go to bed at midnight, while I am getting ready to go out. Ahahah

GoFood is part of the GoJek app. One app for many services. GoPay too, part of GoJek app. You can view screenshot in the app page on play store and maybe appstore too.

I've never top up via credit before. Initially, I've used cash as I don't know how long this app will last. Then, subsequently, I top up by "buying" from the GoJek that took my booking. As you pay lesser with GoPay rather than cash, a lot pay by GoPay, which means most GoJek have some balance in their own GoPay account. Just pay them how much you want to top up and they can transfer to you..

I've not stayed in a lot hotels in Batam, and especially, those high-end ones. Most that I stay in, have no issue allowing GoJek to send food to my room. A couple hotels made call to my room confirming my order and GoJek is free to proceed to my room.

Kampong Bule is NOT a place but more like an area. Its just like in Singapore,people ask where is Little Vietnam or Little India or Little Philippines,...most will tell you Little Vietnam is around Joo Chiat ,Little India is around Serangoon and Little Philippines is around Lucky Plaza. (There's also little Thailand at Golden Mile too)

So, Kampong Bule's area is around...

Do note that tmr is a PH for indo n malaysian.

Bros going Balai might hv a bit of competitions.
Batam should be ok.
