It really depends on how your configure your paylah and/or paynow.
But then again, if you use ATM to deposit money, you have to key in NRIC and phone number.

I do not know if its new or not, but I have been using ATM deposit for personal purposes since 2014/2015, need to enter NRIC and phone.

some of the banks actually disclose the account holder full name to payee instead of the configured initials. been transacting via a proxy since late last year. initially thought will get scammed but so far so good, just need to give 3% of amount as "fees" for covering track. happy to share contact via PM. hope this helps
