I always take Majestic Ferry to Batam Center and the journey is only about 35 minutes.

Majestic also goes from TMFT to Batam Centre and vice versa. Only 4 trips per day though.

There is (or was) a promotion for Majestic Ferry together with DFS. Buy $100 worth of alcohol from DFS and you’ll get a voucher for 2 free tickets. Only condition is that the tickets are for the Tanah Merah > Batam Centre > Tanah Merah route, which you are already going for.

Go check out the DFS shops when u land in Changi Airport. If the promotion is still available, it’s great cos 2 tickets will already cost you $98.

It tells me a story whenever such stories surface. Too many lesser intelligent people using online FL services w/o basic common sense. Too many people trying to turn Batam into a province of Sillypore. Too many paying S$10 for an apple that cost S$1 and later ,the same people will more likely complain that the same S$10 apple in other countries were much tastier,hehehehe...but whatthey didnt realize is that, they made that choice to pay S$10 for that S$1 apple.

The 2 free tickets from dfs need to pay 21sgd going there and 65000 idr coming back Per Pax. Valid until 31 dec 2017. Last time i was there (tmft,2 weeks ago), with any dbs/posb card got promo for return trip at 38sgd

Slight correction here...

The letter for the 2 free tickets is only for the ferry tickets. You still have to pay the departure tax at both terminals, i.e. $21 at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal and 65,000 rp at Batam Center.

And, the returning sector - Batam -> Singapore need not be back to Tanah Merah. At Batam Center side, they don't really care. As long as it's a valid ticket, you may use it for Batam Center -> Harbourfront if the timing suits you.

I would forget about Hawaii. Was there on 2 different occasions recently and was quoted ridiculous prices, by Ah Peng. 1.5 juta for late 20s??

Thanks... I'm aware of the Majestic departure from Tanah Merah to Batam Center. Where I work, we were given free Majestic ferry tickets (2 tickets each trip, no limit to frequency of claim). We do have to pay the taxes though.


For the bro who is coming from Changi Airport to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, there is a $2 shuttle bus that you can take from Changi Airport Terminal 2 Coach Stand, directly to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Don't have to take mrt to Tanah Merah and then switch to bus 35.
