Based on that news article, 600 Sg men hop over to BT every Sat, lets assume 1,000 for the entire week and each spends around S$200 per 2D1N trip and totals to S$200,000 per week and its S$800,000 per month (perhaps more ... say about S$1 million per month)

If both the public and private sectors of BT is ready forgo this kind of revenue/income, it sure affects our chances of finding young ceweks there.
