The ears - I thought I heard the salon shampoo fella say eyes & ears but my Indonesian is bad so it could have been some other parts! I am quite inexperienced as to drugs, in fact - virginal!

Yes, the lights coming on will surely bring a shudder down your spine for even daring to lust after some of those bodies. Thats why I always drag them to the corridors before sealing the deal!

In fact, my cewek's face in the light looked a liddle alike some benchongs I've seen and I had to feel her up in the taxi despite her protestations to make sure I was not going to give myself a shocker!

Luckily she did not have a ding-a-ling or I would have been back in there with you guys and perhaps pulled in since I am so oooooo young! haha

I think you are probably right. Its a "fixed game".

They were after the unauthorised dealers and some of the "poorer" patrons which they really do not want there so as to keep Pacific for their upper crust target market.

The undesirable crowd of guys have become a nuisance these last weekends esp the month end recently.

It would be nice to hear comments from others familiar with police action in Batam and also regulars who have been in more of these police checks.

By the way, did you notice if they went to the upper floors KTV rooms?

quite often you see that recently at batam
so far i have not been involve in any spot check
but just missed a few
most were road blocks or car search in car park
the last i missed was in front of dewi crown car park
we just drove past there and stop in front of dewi crown
and suddenly military jeeps started checking on all cars passing and parking there
we just stood there and watched
very soon it was crowded because its on a saturday night
they even demand those inside the vehicles to get out and body search them
parked cars were shine with torch light while waiting for the car owners to
come forward
at first i thought they were searching for arms or bombs
but learn from my uncle that they were looking for drugs
anyway i dont really bother about this because i dont do drugs

I am currently in KL and only back on Friday and then, on Saturday to Bangkok, LOS.

Seriously, this 15th is the beginning of Ramadan the Muslim fasting month and I understand that nightlife outlets have to shutdown from Thursday night onwards for a few nights (yet to be confirmed).

Last year I was there and it was miserable unless all you want to do is book a cewek and f**k to death in the room and eat.

Please call your "joints" to ask them the latest that they have been informed so you know what you are in for. I would and in fact that is why I am in LOS instead.

Take care and have fun anyway if you are still going.

Surely we will be able to do it some day in near future as I golf there most weeks except this week and possible the next week or two depending on the ramadan situation.

i have a question. Since the Ramadan is starting in 15 October, will this mean that all the discos and pubs in Batam will be closed for a month during the malay fasting month?

All Nagoya nightlife joints will be closed from Thu through to Tue nights. The banana regular girls Wati, Defi, Nengsi, etc will still be hanging around and contactable. Send an SMS to Yus or Marcel.

Incidentally, last year, nightlife places were closed 5 nights at beginning, 5 nights in the middle and 5 nights at the end of Ramadan.

I remember one of those closed nights, we were holed up in the coffee shop of the Golden Virgo playing around with their stupid Karaoke system for lack of a better thing to do. Lucky we had our own bottle of Scotch.

Worst still, the ceweks may have all sorts of excuse like bonking only at night and must go back before dawn to have meal and prepare for fasting too.

My friend had a non-working girl in his room who was between boyfriends (keeper type) and she would not kiss even - "dosa nanti ramamdan habis boleh" she said. All the effort wasted cos after ramadan, she also dissapeared!

Bros,

Pretty interesting insights of Batam life so far. Mine will be a different version, let's put it as version 1.

My cewek, i dun pay just pay for hotel planet and go down planet dico, buy her ONZ and drinks that's all. She high, go dancing, wee hours in the morning go up hotel and bonk and bonk and bonk until dick ached. From her , learn a lot about night life, taxis, shopping and spending there. Anyway she is a FL, on her own waiting for clients type. I did my sayang, now I get the dividends from her.

The other part I like to add is the HOW to get away to Batam without being detected skills like passport chops and so on. Interested? Will enlighten in future. Cheers!
