Let me relate my story to you ...
that time I also kena this type ... she ORD from joint @ Batam liao then she rented a apartment. That time I still duno how to speak Bahasa Indo yet .. but she can speak simple English and very good hokkien .. she can scold "KNN, bey kia lang tu lan .. " .. lagi best : she knows how to play Chor Dai Tee .. End up I every Fri nite go Batam to visit her .. for straight 2 months.

That time average booking fee was Rp180,000 (rate @ S$1 = Rp1700) or S$110. Hotel was 80% more expensive than today. Hence, an average 3D2N trip would easily cost S$500 at that time. But I normally pay around S$200 on miscellaneous expenses (with her 2 frens so total 4 pax) for such weekend get-away.

Although I like such less expensive + got companion weekend life style, but just like you - everyday work also no mood only hope Friday come fast. However, I was luckly to get out due to some reasons/excuses .... Thats why I understand how you feel.
