Just pass thru the auto clearance and up to now there are still some airport staff confuse with it, some even tell me that this gate is for PRC and i just point the "for Singaporean" and they keep quiet

For singaporean we just need to keep to the right

And again PRC when they see the shorter queue they will join in and make a big fuss when they get chase away

After 15 mins of waiting.... the elderly couple behind me interjected and told the PRC woman to be reasonable and not waste everybodys' time only for the PRC to raise her voice at the couple and now becoming a 3-way argument. The immigration officer at the counter waved me to the next lane and after I got my passport stamped and collected my luggage...... the bloody PRC group were still at the Auto Clearance counter entrance blocking it and refusing to budge. I picked up my luggage and left and hope the Thais throw this group of PRCs into the monkey house. Took me more than 30 mins to clear immigration when it was supposed to be 3-5 mins only.

If I'm the custom officer, I will send the whole family back to PRC on the next available flight even if they come direct from a Singapore flight. The Thai people has been to nice to these jokers.

Just to share this.

During my recent trip to BKK. I am unable to use the auto clearance both when i enter and exit. The reason is bcos my passport have an the malaysia cleearance IMAC. The IMAC and their system tend to conflict that why no matter how u scan also cannot have to go through manual.

Not sure anyone encounter the same issue?

This shldnt be an issue.
I have IMAC too. Been to thailand every month for since start of 2017, no issues at all even after implementing auto gate for sg passport. Been using auto gate all the time after implementation.
Are u saying they dun let u use it? Or are u saying the auto gate system fail to detect?
In case is system fail to detect, its a common issue. U need to try several times and get the staff to help u scan. My average tries per usage of auto gate is 5 times, before it detects.
Staff are very friendly pls be good to them. Sg red passport really has some privilege in thailand.
They dun even bother to read what i write on my immigration form or even look at my face before stamping my passport.

Yes, i am trying to said card fail to detect. I tried many time and the staff also assisted me to no avail. The queue behind me was damn long. Then her superior came and try said cannot too due to the IMAC card. It will make the system conflict not sure which to scan and escort me to the manual queue to scan. Therefore, i just share my experience here.

i was just there 2 weeks ago, and i lined up at the "ASEAN" que ;;; took a good 30-40 mins to get through immi....

omw back to Singapore though, I saw the auto clearance for Singaporeans (+ Thai nationals) and was able to pass through quite fast.

There are 1-2 dedicated terminals for Singaporeans only. Separate from Thais. Unlike in SG where Singaporeans, PRs, LTP holders all use the same terminals.

Below is my experience at BKK recently. Yet to use DMK.
Arrival - Dedicated terminals at Immigration Zone C(extreme left if facing immigration counters). Zone B(center) no dedicated terminals(Nov).

Departure - Zone B dedicated terminals(Dec). Really a breeze!!! Especially when the queue for usual counters are fully packed with PRC n Russian groups!!!

Auto-clearance (4+1)-steps
1. Scan passport
2. Scan boarding pass
3. Take facial pic
4. Scan fingerprint
5. Stamp passport by desicated immigration officer

DMK alreday started using auto clearance for both arrival and departure for Singaporean passports.

Note that auto clearance arrival at DMK (for Thai visa holders) to use the auto clearance is not allowed.

So SG passport can just go queue in line beside Thais to use the automated clearance?
