Just wondering since I'm relatively new to the chionging scene, what was the market rate for home based MLs with the different tiers of services prior to covid?

This An An/Yi Yi's ad is $120 for hj and $140 fof bbbj/cim right? Isn't that the current market rate? Granted that these are definitely inflated rates, just like how hjs are MPs used to cost $30 instead of $50, but am just wondering what was the norm before covid?

Honestly, if compared with MPs, these charges are really higher. The MLs currently on my rotation list whom are based in MPs average between $100-$110 a pop for hj, but cos of environment, almost all don't allow SN even if 3.5G roaming is allowed. Furthermore, some of these MLs give a decent to good massage before extras so it does seem better value for money as it seems most home based MLs can't give a proper massage based on FRs I've read here. The rare home based MLs who can supposedly give a decent massage seemed to be older and not my cup of tea. The one pro about home based MLs is the availability of being serviced in SN or FN, though I'm not sure if that is worth paying a seemingly more premium price tag.

Fuck joint MLs that I go to once in a while are about $150-$160 all in, though I've been recommended some "gems" for up to $200 ("gems" cos I haven't tried any so don't know if worth to be called gems).

I do agree that the current inflated rates suck. But sometimes got urge then kind of LPPL. Only recourse is to try cut down on frequency so as not to break the bank I guess.

Just a dicussion here cos I'm considering whether to explore more in MPs or home based scenes. In the meantime, we can only hope that this whole covid episode gets better by end of the year (though unlikely since globally it's still very bad), after which more MLs flood the market and rates go down as a form of market correction.

If memory serves, there wasn't a proper distinction/separation of services rendered tagged onto their prices, more of different ml will provide different stuff.

I would say that 80% of MLs listed were at $100/110 for 60 mins. Maybe 10% at 120 and another 10% at other prices (can be lower/higher).

Services ranged from msg/SN/FN/HJ/BJ/CIM/1/2shots/etc.

Bros feel free to chime in, maybe I'm not quite right 😅

It's exactly discussions like these that create loopholes and justifications for price increases. So its not a discussion I will go into.

Anyway, this is a non-regulated free-pricing enterprise, anyone can charge anything they like.

For me, it's not the price, it's the value. I know what the value is for hj, bbbj and fj. So I know what I will and will not pay - which I've mentioned many times before. Everyone else is entitled to pay what they want. Like the guys in HC thread proudly state, "if I can afford it, why not?".

I was going to book her, lucky I checked the forum. Whether she is AP or 1st tier, she is a great service provider. But am going to pass at 140. I reckon someone advised her to split her rates.

Perhaps cos I came into the game late where I was introduced to these rates so I'm accustomed to a somewhat higher rate? Of course, I won't pay exorbitant rates like we previously mentioned like $70-$100 for a hj on top of entrance for MP.

For sure hoping that rates will drop in the future.
