Hmmm ... how come so quiet here tonite? not a single post fr Pool bros over d weekend! .......... well anyways, a thrilling 2-3 win agt WH tonite. nice to see Torres with that brace, n importantly our fighting spirit to clinch d winner after WH levelled twice. however, sore point is our defence once again ....... set piece set piece set piece ......... when r we gonna learn how to defend???? an exciting and thrilling match with a few incidents.
we won 3-2 thru a double from Torres,he answered his critics on the field with goals.

Ya, defence was a problem last nite. Carragher seems like lost of form & Liverpool was horrible defending corners. No one was guarding the near post.
But anyway, great win & 3 pts is more important.

That's cos we are trying to catch the opposite team offside for the 2nd ball onwards from corners. If our opponent (say A) heads the corner towards his team mate (B) who is nearer to our goal, having a player on the line will keep B onside. we always seem to have problems defending against set-pieces.
at the end of the match,the 3 pts is wat counts.

The defense looks out of sort, if teams such as WH can punished them with two goals then I think stronger teams are going run rings round them...this is one department that is very worrying..already 6 games into the campaign and already let in so many goals...

but end of the day of the day it is the 3 points that counts....just hope it does not have to come to goal dif at the end of the campaign..

true bros, 3 pts was all that count. but we need to address that defensive problem soon or we'll get punished in d big games. it's great tt we managed to overcome WH - which was 1 of d tricky away teams we could hv potentially dropped pts. now that Scums had overcame 2 of d big 6, if they manage to kill Man C tonite, they'll make it 3. while Pool had only played 1, i.e agt Spurs n lost ... so we can expect a tough road ahd.

2 me a WIN is a WIN .... @ the end of the day,it is still 3 pts in the bag.
Even if they were 2 play veri fantastic last nite,it doesn't suggest tat the EPL title is 4 them 2 take ... or shld i say 4 them 2 lose.

Their next game is on 22/9 against Leeds in the Carling Cup,EPL game on Sat 26/9 against Hull City at Anfield & UCL game away to Fiorentina on 29/9.

In the month Oct 2009,The Reds have some big EPL matches coming up.
On 4/10,they play chelsea @ Stamford Bridge.
On 25/10,they play manu @ Anfield.

Bros, being an Owen fan it really hurts to see judas came on as sub n scored d winner for scums ... what more in d death of injury time. juz when we Pool fans were starting to celebrate scums dropping 2 precious pts at home! N how crucial that 3 pts may turn out in d title race! any1 can tell me y scums always lead a charmed life???????

never knew what extra time meant until tonight. 4 mins can become 5 mins 30 secs... it's really extra time. did mark hughes complain? referee also quite kelong in giving freekicks. city should never have sat back and defend. cos when city attacks, they are so effective.

the team tat gets the most pts out their home games hv the advantage in the run in 2 the EPL title.
