Friend, near Hyatt, there r 2 IBIS. Arcadia n Tamarin... abt 50USD per night. Decent room, both I stayed b4. Walking distance to Plaza Indo.

well.. seems like I'll be arriving in the big durian just in time for ladies night. If all goes well... will prolly head down to either V2 or BATS to scope out. Been reading up on the blok M forums (The Blok M Forums • Index page) and that it seems blok M not as happening as it was so not putting too much high hopes on it.

I know but that brother doesn't. If he just mention IBIS - along the main toll road leading to the airport also have IBIS. Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta also got IBIS. If you specify IBIS Arcadia / IBIS Thamrin yes, it is much clearer mah.

V2 got no ladies night. But on wednesday they usually have some special events such as some renowned band / special guest stars - local models / artists performing. Frustrating as they will insist that you open a bottle in order to have the front seats.

If you are lokking for quality then you should try CJ, on wednesday night the disco is packed with many office type girls - ladies night.

Not too far from Shangri La. Say about an hour traffic depending on the time of the day.

But honestly give that a miss, you stay at a 5 star hotel man..have some standard lah.

If you want some action in Kota - there are Classics, Mailiboro which is not too far away from your hotel. Your hotel provides Silver Taxis, you can ask for one to show you where is Classics or Mailiboro. The silver cabs drivers are usually the very season ones and they know Jakarta well. Some even speaks english. Good Luck.
