After lunch, washed up the dishes with June. Wah...such a long time since I have help to wash the dishes. Hahaha...

June: "Aiyoh....you are wasting so much water. You should rinsed away the oily stain with the common water. Then applied the detergent......"
Me: "Oohh..."


In no time the dishes were done and it's time for me to bring Isabelle to the library.

Me: "Hi Isabelle, are you ready?"
Isabelle: "Yes. I am ready! Waiting for you."

Me: "Ok...let's go."


Before we could step out of the house, June called out Isabelle.

June: "Hi Isabelle! hmmp hmmp...What have you forgotten?"
Isabelle: "Oh mummy. Goodbye uncle, see you aunty."


Isabelle bidded faewell to my parents.


Time was fast at the library. Isabelle was roaming and browsing the collection at the kid's concern whereas I just grabbed a few magazines and read. However my attention was on the few MILFs who brought their kids to the library. Young and sweet mothers! But none of them can compare to June's beauty, her virtue. She is still the best. hehehe.

Time was reading 3.15pm. Went to look for Isabelle.

Me: "So how do you find books to read or spend your day."
Isabelle: "I just go to the computer and find something to read. Sometime daddy also don't allow me to switch on the computer."

Me: "Oic....are you afraid of our daddy?"
Isabelle: "Yes....whenever he is angry. Sometimes he will throw things in the house. One time mummy's head was hurt when daddy throw a bunch of keys onto her."

Me: "Do you miss your daddy?"
Isabelle: "urrr....no... Urrrr.....uncle will you bring me to the library?"
Me: "Urr...of course dear. Whenever you want. Don't worry. Uncle won't scold mummy and Isabelle. hahaha."

I was touched and saddened by the simple words from a litlle girl. She is as sensible as her mother. It's really like mother like daughter.


Soon we left the library and headed home. Isabelle was smiling and reading the 5 storybooks she got from the library throughout the journey from library to home.


Reached home and we were greeted with a strong pastry aroma.

Isabelle: "Mummy....see I have many books!"
June: "Oh is it....are you happy? Show mummy what story books you have borrowed."


Isabelle was quick to "showhand" all the kiddy books.


Mum: "Oei son! See what your friend has bake."
Me: "Huh....oooh."


On the dining table, placed a nicely, delicious chocolate pie. The whole dining room and living room was filled with the aromatic sense.


Me: "Wah...that's a masterpiece."
June: "Thanks for the compliment. Let me cut the cake and distribute to everyone."


June sliced the cake and summoned Isabelle to serve everyone in the house. All my family members were indulging and savoring the mud pie. June shared her portion with Isabelle. The chocolate was rich. The sweetness was neutral and blands well with the overall texture of the cake.


Everyone can't agreed that it was a well done confectionery.

Soon it was dinner time. However June and me decided not to join my family for dinner. We left Isabelle under my mum's care.

About 7.30pm, we went East Coast Park hawker centre for dinner. The place was filled with diners and we have to wait for about 10minutes for a empty table.

Me: "Hmm...so any preference?"
June: "So long never eat chicken wing, satay, cockles...hahaha."

Me: "Ok....then I will order abit of them, how about that?"
June: "Can we finished it?"

Me: "Aiyah...just a bit and as long as you enjoy it."
June: "Thanks. Then let me order a drink. What would you like?"

Me: "Your take."
June: "Ok."


So I am off to order the food. Soon I was back with a plate of Satay Mee Hoon. Surprisingly no queue that night. Another surprise to see a bottle of Tiger beer and 2 mugs on the table. June was filling the mugs up.


Me: "Woh woh...what's up?"
June: "Long time never so relax. So isn't it time to enjoy this moment? It's Tiger Time!"

Me: "Wah....nice to see you in a good mood. Then, let's up cheer!"
June: "Cheers dear! Hahaha."


Sip a few pints of beer. We looked at each other deep into our eyes. We gave off a warm smile to one another. That was the moment, The kind of moment where we dedicate to each other's love in a silent mode. The kind of love where no words can easily and best describe our feeling for each one.

I reached out my hand and gave a light pinch on her chin....


Me: "I adore you."
June: "Me too."

Me: "You copycat!"
June: "Hehe..."

Me: "Urrr...can't you find something new to say?"
June: "I don't know can?"

Me: "You don't act blur hor."
June: "Hahaha...."

Me: "So like that one."


We both smiled.


Food was served. A plate of cockles, a plate of 20 sticks chicken and mutton satays, 4 chicken wings. We started to tuck in. Help June to peel the cockles.


Me: "Women should eat more of this cockles. Help to regenerate the blood that you gals have lost every month. hahaha.."
June: "Cheeky you."

Me: "Also should eat more eggs."
June: "What kind of theory is that?"

Me: "My theory lor."
June: "I give up! Then you should eat more tabpoles then!"

Me: "Yucks!"
June: "Or maybe some animals gental organs!"

Me: "Oh yah...should try hor. Makes me a superman!"
June: "Are you so lousy to consider that kind of supplement?"

Me: "Urrr....I don't think so. Perhaps you should help me guage hor."
June: "I don't want!"

Me: "You say huh! Don't regret huh?!"
June: "Huh hump! So loud. You are in the public area k."

Me: "Why? You shy huh?"
June: "Don't make me embarass."

Me: "Ok lah...let's eat."


Me: "So are you fine with staying at my place so far?"
June: "Hmmm...your family members are nice to be with. They are very acommodating towards me and Isabelle. I am really glad. But I don't think this can continue for long. I can't wait to settle the divorce and move back to my own place."

Me: "You can always stay at my place if you want. We ae not going to chase you out."
June: "I know....but still this is not the ultimate solution. It won't be nice. I really appreciate all this arrangement."

Me: "Hmmmm....what if I ask you to stay, will you?"
June: "Dear....I know it's your good intention to ask me to stay with you. However based on my status and yours, it is not right to co-habit together like this. Your parents, your relatives might mind about it. Think of the adverse effect. I don't want people to have the negative impression about us. I hope you understand what I mean. If we really want to be officially together, we can't rush things. Let us take it step by step. It would be beautiful and appreciative this way."

Me: "...understand."
June: "I hope you are not angry or sort of. I really want to be with you and your family in future."

Me: "You sure?"
June: "I should ask you this."

Me: "No doubt."
June: "Then....let's work it out ok...."

Me: "Sure."
June: "Ok.....let's continue eating. Cheers!"

Me: "Cheers!"


We sat there for almost an hour plus before we left that place.
