Yes bro GQ! That's exactly. I was wrong long time ago when I thought they got 'love at first sight'. Now I know this is all bullshit...

I realise their feeling movement is something like:
Thich(when u sit her)>rat thich(when u sit her with exponentially increased tips and maybe some LT session)>buc boi(when they see u sit other girl)>buon(when u no sms them alrdy)>vui(when u go find them and sit them and them back with more money)> rat vui + thich (when u fark them back)> thuong (when u can fark them for free although in fact it's in credit)>buon(when they go back wet nam and u no gv allowance monthly)

The cycle repeats again when they find new carrot. Hehe Viet scene is fun

The toi/ban used here doesn't really mean she's looking at you as a male platonic male friend. IMHO, the vb think he's using translator so they use very proper TV and toi/ban because they learn toi=I and ban=you in school. If she put anh it might come brother/english.

This theory I learnt from KT. And my no1 told me the same reason as KT when I ask her how come she use toi/ban in SMS sometimes.

The time when u and your bg/Bx quarrel I think they will use anh/em(when u usually use ox/Bx with her) and anh/toi (when u usually use anh/em with her)

Vdict wont teach such stuff...

When u use the translation, u need to type the sentence in 100% vietnamese words. Those u got from her sms doesnt have the diacritical mark, so u wont get the true meaning.

Flower festival to add colour at Tet
=============================================
VietNamNet Bridge – The Phu My Hung Spring Flower Festival this year hopes to bring a richer assortment of blossoms to attract more residents and visitors during the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday.

The five-day event, co-hosted by the HCM City-based Phu My Hung Corporation and the Association of Orchids and Ornamental Trees, will open at 7:30pm on January 16 at the Phu My Hung urban area.

First held in 2004, the annual event will include a number of art activities and festivals featuring the country's culture and traditions.

Visitors can participate in many activities, including a ceremony to release flowers, garlands and lanterns to float on the Ban Nguyet (Crescent) Lake, creating a festive atmosphere.

The festival's highlight will be a contest for the most beautiful Vietnamese flower and ornamental tree. Total prizes amount to VND250 million (US$12,000).

The festival hopes to attract 500 booth, displaying all kinds of flowers and plants from gardens of farmers and city residents, and 200 booth, selling specialties of Tet from reputable Vietnamese businesses.

A cuisine area that serves authentic Vietnamese food will also be set up. In addition, musical performances every night will keep the event lively and exciting.

In previous years, the festival attracted around 500,000 visitors to the event. This year, it hopes to welcome more than 1 million visitors.

The festival, which is open free of charge to visitors, aims to exhibit the unique beauty of Vietnamese flora and create an opportunity for the public to enjoy a traditional Tet holiday.

HCMC flower and book festivals to welcome Tet
================================================== =====
Two big flower and book festivals will take place in Ho Chi Minh City next week to welcome the coming lunar new year, which falls on January 23.

Artisans around Ho Chi Minh City are sprinting to finish the decorations for the annual Nguyen Hue Flower Street Festival, which will be open from January 20-26 in District 1 to celebrate the coming Tet holiday.

Tiled “Vietnam – Que Huong Toi” (Vietnam – My Homeland), the festival will feature traditional Vietnamese cakes for the Tet holiday, including “banh chung,” “banh day,” and “banh tet,” and national costumes like “quai thao” and conical hats, which will be made of thousands of flowers.

A 12m-long and 5m-high model of a dragon, the animal of the year in the lunar calendar, made of hyacinth wood, will also be a highlight of the event. It will be put at the beginning of the street, together with five smaller dragons representing the five basic elements of metal, wood, water, fire and earth.

Painter Minh Phuong, who is in charge of the huge dragon, said her team is willing to work overnight to finish the work on time.

Architect Pham Thi Thuy Ai, designer of the Nguyen Hue Flower Street, told Tuoi Tre that a giant picture titled “Rong Chuc Phuc” (Blessing Dragon), made of around 500 vases of daisies and gerbera flowers together with 5000 lanterns with the wish of a peaceful new year, will be displayed at the end of the street.

More than 300,000 vases of flowers will also be put along the street for spectators to enjoy.

Tran Hung Viet, general director of Saigontourist, the organizer of the festival, said the festival aims to showcase the beauty of Vietnam’s mainland and islands.

“Images of the sea and islands will be featured at the festival in the form beaches, coconut trees and marine animal models made of flowers,” he said. “The light effect will also promise to bring visitors a gorgeous festival.”

At the same time, a book street festival titled “Truyen Thong, Hien Tai va Tuong Lai” (Tradition, Present and Past) will also take place on another stretch of Nguyen Hue Street, as well as Mac Thi Buoi and Ngo Duc Ke streets in District 1.

Themed “Con Duong Truyen Thong” (The Street of Tradition), the event on Mac Thi Buoi will showcase books about Vietnamese history, traditional cultural values, and HCMC in the past.

New books published by local and foreign publishers will be displayed on Nguyen Hue Street together with modern tools for e-books and digital documents under the theme of “Con Duong Giao Thoa Hien Tai Huong Toi Tuong Lai” (The Street of The Meeting between Present and Future).

For its part of “Con Duong Tuong Lai” (The Street of Future), Ngo Duc Ke Street will gather books and documents about the city’s projects in the next few years.

The street also includes children’s and braille books, as well as a play zone for children and book cafés.

The festival, which will gather books from many publishers around the city including Tong Hop, Fahasa, Phuong Nam and Van Hoa Van Nghe, will also hold meetings for visitors with local writers.

Re: Tieng Viet lovers club

Hue - Vietnam's imperial capital
===================================
Between Vietnam's largest city and its capital lies the ancient city of Hue, a place that is steep in ancient history and culture.

Located in the province of Thua Thien-Hue in central Vietnam, about 700 kilometers south of Hanoi and about 1,100 kilometres north of Ho Chi Minh is Hue, the former capital of the Nguyen dynasty. The city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site along the banks of the Perfume River, is home to many famous historical monuments that are certainly worth feasting your eyes on.

In 1802, Emperor Gia Long of the Nguyen dynasty established control over all of Vietnam. He made Hue the national capital and from 1802 till 1945, the city was the centre of the Nguyens, a feudal dynasty of warlord kings. Hue's star faded in 1945 when the last Nguyen emperor, Bao Dai abdicated the throne and a newly formed communist government moved the capital to Hanoi. Because of the city's position near the border between North and South Vietnam, it sustained much devastation during the Vietnam War. Some of the greatest damage to the city happened during the Tet Offensive in 1968, which left many of her beautiful buildings in shambles. Thankfully, in recent years, the government of Vietnam has made much effort to restore the ancient monuments of Hue to their former glory, so today visitors can step back in time and marvel at the brilliance of the Nguyen dynasty.

The grandest of all the historical monuments is the Imperial City, a walled citadel, palace and forbidden inner sanctum that was once the seat of the Nguyen emperors. The grounds of this imperial city were surrounded by a two kilometre by two-kilometre wall and the walls are surrounded by a moat, which was created with water from the Perfume River. Built by Emperor Gia in 1804, the Imperial Palace is a magical oasis with ornate gates, bridges and statues, rooms and halls with intricately detailed columns and roofs inlaid with gold, pretty courtyards, gardens and lotus ponds. It was declared a UNESCO Heritage Site in 1993 and continues to be restored today.

Many other notable historical monuments can be found along the Perfume River, among them are the burial grounds of the eight Nguyen emperors, including Minh Mang, Khai Dinh, Gia Long and Tu Duc. Much like the pharaohs of Egypt, the Nguyen emperors would begin planning and construction their royal tombs while they were still alive. Most of the tombs face the Imperial City and consist of two complexes, one for the coffin and one for the funeral services. Each tomb has a different design that reflects the unique personality and taste of the emperor buried within it. The tomb of Tu Duc on Duong Xuan Mountain about eight kilometres from the city centre is one of the most visited because of its regal architecture and idyllic location amidst a hilly pine forest and picturesque lakes.

Another must-see attraction is the Thien Mu Pagoda, the largest pagoda and the official symbol of Hue City. It was named after a mythical figure named Thien Mu. Legend has it that a celestial being in the form of an old lady named Thien Mu would appear every night on the hill where the pagoda now stands. She told the people that in order for the country to prosper, a pagoda needed to be built on the site where she appeared. The Nguyen lords heeded her advice and they each contributed to the pagoda's creation in one way or other. Lord Nguyen Pguc Chu introduced a giant bell and a stele erected on the back of a marble tortoise and King Thieu Tri built the seven story high Phuoc Duyen tower. Like the Imperial Palace, the pagoda has undergone extensive restoration and visitors can view its many antiquities today.

When to go and where to stay

The best times to visit Hue are in the months of March and August when it is not too hot or wet. For a taste of what royal life might have been like, get a room at the Imperial Hotel (8 Hung Vuong Boulevard, Hue City, +84-54-388-2222 +84-54-388-2222, [email protected], www.imperial-hotel.com.vn). Situated in the heart of the city, on the bank of the Perfume River, just a short walk from the Truong Tien Bridge and Hue Train Station, this hotel offers luxurious rooms with scenic views as well as a pool, spa and a good selection of in-house restaurants and bars. A cheaper alternative is the Orchid Hotel (30A Chu Van An Street, Hue City, +84-54-383-1177 +84-54-383-1177, [email protected]; www.orchidhotel.com.vn), a cozy, centrally location hotel with great service.
