I've engaged his service before, overall quite good for first trip, but on second engagement, he borrowed 150SG from us ard 11pm saying he had problems and will return us next morning, but next morning he told us lies like he never went home coz no key so couldn't get $$$ to repay us...saying will return us next trip....but when we called him wanting to engage his service and at the same time get back $$$ from him, he said he's car spoilt...knn

Yes I do!!! In fact for every SGD30 that the driver earns... He gives me SGD50 for intoducing him to my kakis...

I will only introduce if I have a better deal, receive better service (If not I will be no difference from BinBin liao) than what was being posted. I believe that by doing so, all brothers will be able to get better and better service, cheaper and cheaper price. If everyone is negative towards information-provider and start accusing them of being commission-taker (that's what you do, Bro No-go), very soon, nobody will want to shall their experience and info liao...

So far, Ronny is one of the most reliable and reponsible driver in Batam that I know, really take care of customers (all my friends that use him comes back with the same comments) He also know places that malay drivers might not know (some weird eating places, Cai Shen Temple etc)... but seriously, if other brothers have better than Ronny, please intro so all samster can benefit.

That is very serious leh... but so far, he is to me a reliable and dependable driver. As for this "aspect" of character, I am not very sure... Even if he borrowed from me, I wouldn't have lent it to him.

Well, if what paranoidspy said is true, then Ronny's driver service is good! But just dun lent him any money... ha ha ha. Frankly lah, he is alright to me lah... but if brothers not comfortable then please dun engage him...

Ai yah.... the keyword is "borrow" lah. That means it is still very much up to you lah. You can always refuse him if he borrow money from you lah... if it is a "MUST BORROW" then becomes "rob" liao....

Last week, he charged my friend 25k rupiah from the Jetty (Batam Centre) to Hotel Fantasy(Nagoya). Talk to him during the trip to hotel loh, he is not the pushy type lah.... if dun like him, ask him to fcuk off after paying him 25k for the trip loh.

From what I heard, you can take ferry from a jetty(don't know what name) located at the south tip of Batam Island. If you seriously want to know, I can help you find out. But normally, you should be the only Singaporean on board. Be careful.

The cheapest way is not to engage driver. Or engage the service of Batam Man. Just spend some time drink with him should be enough. Provided you don't get drunk drinking with him.
