It's a lousy feeling to love someone but not to be in control. Despite what a lot of people say about PRC WLs I belive that they are but human - and have been put into a situation whereby the only way they can support themselves is to do what they do.

True, the aim when they do come over to SG is to earn money - and many are aware that they must NOT "like" the people they are servicing - but they do have feelings too and emotions do develop when the right guy comes along.

shawn_mib if you are absolutely sure that she is the one, and you do not mind her past - then my advice (which is against conventional wisdom) is to "chase" her all the way. But you have to lay it all out.

But be prepared for the worst - she most likely would have skeletons back home which she has not revealed.

I always and still believe that one has to at least have tried and failed - rather than just have thought about it, not done anything and regret for the rest of one's life.

Basically who some brother has already said - her background.

From the looks of things you have known your gf for about half a year or less. Take things a bit slower and get to know her better before committing.

By all means call her when you want to - I believe that you hesitate before calling so as not to bother her, or afraid that you might be disturbing her? Feel lousy when she does not answer your call or when she is not reachable?

By all means do what you want WHEN you want and not be at your gf's beck n call. Try and make a trip to her home town to visit her. If she tries to avoid you going over - it is a sure tell tale sign that she has been with-holding something from you.

You have to take things into YOUR control!
