From what I gathered so far.... business is good for those special KTV like JA, DFML..... for normal or upskill type like TDWX.... business is bad...
I was having dinner with one MM from TDWX last night.... she said business is bad for TDWX and also new Oscar ... most of the time, half of the MMs in TDWX 没坐台.... Oscar now also offers back 70% discount for drinks......

I thought the gers at TDWZ didn't look too bad except they were more mature, but the 3-8-10 rate may be a bit too much for the budget conscious.

tks for your reports. My guess is unless primary motive is to drink and not the MMs, then even 70% disc may not get us back there if MM quality and service is not there. Agree boh?

For us, its the time and effort we expend in hauling our ass over there. The ktv drinking and singing is prelude and lubricant to enjoyment with MM's and bros. Ideally we would like to have BOTH ie cheap drinks AND good MM experience. If one has to give...it will likely be the drinks and not the MM

totally agreed with u on this point ....
u mean the 70% discount is onli on drinks ... not include the room charges or total bills ?

70% discount is for drink... but the min spent for room still stay... meaning... if the room min spent is RMB500... you still need to pay RMB500 but now with the RMB500 you are getting more bottle of wines (70% more bottle of wine)....
Normally we get like 2 wines and free 1 bottle... some is like 1 bottle wine free 1 bottle wine.... but for Oscar now... it is buy 1 bottle free 1.5bottle more.... hahhahah
