still have. the syts working in salons here are mostly m'sian xmms. i patronized quite a few. they are mostly found in shopping centres. most of them are not highly educated and aspire to be hairstylist or open their own salons.

successful hair stylists can earn quite a lot. esp if they have a regular pool of clients, mostly those socialites/tais-tais. i have a female fren who's in this line for the past 8 yrs and doing quite well

but yes SG xmms are unlikely to be hairdresser now. most of them at least diplomas (many private uni degrees) and will be working in office admins

its the same as KTV scene. quite hard to find local syts working as KTV gals now. today pretty gals have so much more options - can live stream (BIGO), be a paid date (Maybe.sg) or sell stuff on FB/IG etc

all these channels can make money and they dun have to stay late hrs/drink excessively and entertain shady men

Azami Barber boss is a Japanese man. Iirc. All the hair dressers r ladies. Not those malay abang. Got fb page n google page as well. Hair cut, wash n shoulder neck massage is the one I go for.

The seng poh one cmi la. Last I went to boon keng salon call perfect styles. Now like close down liao, use to have a lady call Michelle, n Bowie. Bowie can cut v well. She now back in jb. Heard she now her own boss too.

Guess some got good cutting skills can climb the ladder faster. Those shopping center shampoo gal some quite stuck up. Unless got bro intro with decent fr I don't mind trying. But scare kena spotted by OC friends

Azami FB doesnt have many pics. And nothing mentioned abt any gals too. lol. how is the quality of the hairdressers? All Jap?
Price wise, very reasonable for a haircut in an atas place.
Would like to try one day if reviews are good.

Azami Barber r most aunties. Only 2 young ladies. One of them looks like ice queen but in fact she is ice queen. Don't smile n don't really chat. Down here no such experience like mtw. This is a decent hair cutting place. Boss is a Japanese man, they got old Japanese manga. All in jap, I like the quietness n some aunty can give a good decent hair cut. I always go for the hair cut, wash n blow dry with 15min neck n shoulder massage, total $42

Don't go at weekends. Many angmo n Japanese will be having their haircut there. Is quite popular among the foreigners working here.
