Unfortunately your "seh" is kinda negative so to speak.

Not sure how positive things will turn out to be with that kind of negativity.

Just posted this story over at my BFF's thread, but I figured I wanted it in my own thread as well. So here it is.

Two seconds later, a bug started circling the overhead lamp.

I freaked out. Anyone who knows me, knows that I don't - I can't - handle bugs. I'm terrified of them no matter how much people try to calm me down with words like "you're much bigger than them" or "the bugs are probably more afraid of you". Nope, just nope. I really dislike sharing the same space as bugs. I literally cannot function. Like, I can spend a good half hour just eyeballing the insect and unable to do my own work. It gets that bad.

The bug then made its way to my curtain. It was busy crawling all over the curtain, and I took the chance to hide inconspicuously under my sheets, with only my eyes exposed to continue stalking the bug. Which, I guess, had found a sweet spot to finally rest its wings and rest for the night.

By this time, I really needed to pee. But I couldn't hop out of bed knowing that the bug was literally one feet away from my bed and could potentially evict me anytime. But things were getting urgent, so I had no choice but to relent.

The toilet is a great place for releasing many things. Including freeing the mind. And while listening to the wind wreaking havoc on the trees, I gave in. So as I walked back to my bed, relieved that the bug was still in the same spot and that my bed still belonged to me for the night, I made a silent prayer. Something that went along the lines of sympathising with how the bug needed a place to hide from the turbulent weather, so he may seek refuge in the curtain for the night, but please to not land on my face while it's sticky from drool, and I hope he finds his way out into the sunshine the next morning.

I told the bug goodnight, and drifted off to sleep.

BFF asked me what the moral of the story is. Why are guys always chasing after the moral of the story? Sometimes I tell you guys things just to share what's going on, there doesn't have to be a bigger meaning behind what I'm saying. You can make what you like of stories.
