He interviewed me in the room. I request that he put on his ID badge which he eventually wore over his neck. I looked at his ID and he became a bit uneasy. Well, he was courteous to my surprise. He told me to be cooperative and everything will be fine. "Of course I will be cooperative" I told him.

After taking my ID, He asked me the SOP questions like
(1) Is it my first time here
-- Yes
(2) Am I married
-- No
(3) What Am I doing here
-- Facial and taking a rest, and you woke me
(4) How much I paid and for how long
-- $40 for 45 minutes
(5) What service I am doing
-- Facial
(6) Any special service offered to me
-- No, I was sleeping

Anyway, me and the gal both have the common consensus on what to say

The interview session was not fun and they sure have mastered some technique to make you feel uneasy, by prolonging the interview, getting your contact number, why lock the door (I want privacy as many people come in and query for facial). Many times, he tried to con me into a conversation and catch my words. At a few time, he a bit like "better cooperate with me or else back to the station". They have no right to do so anyway. Whats wrong with having facial. I am already speaking in a gentleman language. I was almost about to switch on my phone recorder to record some little harsh things he may say. I also relook at his badge. He toned down. Seriously, anything further than this is tentamount to harassing me.

I can hear the lady officer grilling the WL in a fierce tone in the next room and she almost broke down, a bit unreasonable and trying to put words into her mouth at some point. Later she toned down and became a bit "consultative" and advising her to switch career and stop doing this. Just realised that the ML is a citizen already, nothing much the police officer can do. I was thinking, wah, job advisor or what?

frankly what can the WL do outside other than a sales gal earning $1800 per month, barely enough to support a family especially with kids at school.

They flip here and there, look here and there, maybe looking for condom. A photographer came to take some photos. After about 40 minutes, they left after all the statements were taken. The male officer told the ML that she better "watch it" as they will come again.

wtf. a threat or what.

Seems like nothing happen. Anyway, after this round and a few previous round, I am quite used to such raids. Afterall, AV are also employed civil servants. They have to know what they are doing within their means, and we as citizens also have our rights.

But I don't like the way he told the WL that he will be back and ask her to watch it. I want to complain against him for this but the ML told me not to, dun want to invite trouble. For her sake, I cool myself

Thanks for the very detailed and informative FR on a raid. Good thing you're smart enough to know your rights and did not let yourself be bullied. Farkers, go and threaten the WL.

This should be required reading for all newbies, so they know how to behave and stand up to bully cops.

The sad fact is, not many dare to ans the way u did.

Worst is even if really nothing is done, those dickheads will surrender themselves lst.

But if u r married, av most likely will say to get your wife to bail u.

I ever told them, if my wife divorce due to me coming to massage parlour, I make sure he will get sack for what he did.

Who say married man cannot go massage parlour which I shoot them before... But I shoot them when I really didn't do anything that time.. Haha

I have read 2 types of advice in this forum in an event of a raid.

1. Cooperate with AV and tell the truth
2. Not to tell the truth and say the same thing as the ML

Telling AV the truth will definitely get the ML in trouble but chances of you getting into trouble is low.

Lying to AV may save the ML, but there is a chance if the stories do not tally or you mistakenly said something wrong, you may get in trouble for lying.

Hard decisions.

Once a ML told me her friend was massaging a customer and they haven't even started anything hanky panky. AV came in, the customer panicked during questioning and told AV that the ML is going to provide special later. Her friend kena deported back.

Though i dont have such exciting encounter but I did visit a spa sometime late last year and there was a check came in. Didnt know the detail but just heard the massure colleague knock on the door and told her police is here and told her to go get her work permit and go to the recept.

Maybe just routine check to see if any illegal worker as the police neither come into the room nor did they interview me. I was just lying there resting on the bed..

Actually all AV need is a Thermal Imaging Camera to record what happened before budging in...

I have my fair share also with AV when they came in.But everything was over and I just came out of the shower room.Once I saw those guys I knew they were not customer,i pretend nothing happen and went in the room to dress myself.Then the officer came knock my door and came in,through out the statement he is very polite to me.As they did not see anything I say I came for facial and tell him how much I pay.As I knew the ML will also not admit anything other than facial coz we are not caught red handed.If you are not caught red handed don't admit anything even they can threathen you or so ever.They have no right to bring you back as long you cooperate with them by providing the statement.Unless you are caught with your pants down then no point denying just provide the statement they still let you go.true like bro say you must know your right do not let them threaten you.And they have no rights to shout or raise their voice at you too.There is nothing to be afraid off coz you are not commited murder crime they open shop do business n we are spending money.when you are caught in that situation you have to keep yourself calm,but not all guys are the same especially the newbie.
