when i told her the air tix now cheaper than TET period , she told me " ok lol then i go now then come back after TET"...
If nothing goes wrong , I be visiting no2 hometown which is 2 hrs ride from hcmc . But I told her we go in morning come back in the evening , no overnight !

This is call STUBBON which is in their blood,i kana until very sianz until i let her talk,i keep quiet.give her talk loh,those ppl who is stubbon will insist on what they think and will not listen to any reason u give them
Then normally after 1 day,she will come and talk to me,then i explain to her

seem like u have no other way to save your 3k and for her to go back, reason being
1)she have not went back for the past 2 year
2)she insist on going back on "TET",so prepare to buy expensive air ticket
3)she have not open mouth to get from u any money for the past 2 years
If for me,i will explain to her why i think 3k is a bit too much for me and why i dont want her to go back on 'tet' cos ticket is expensive
sometime it also depends on how u use money in sg,she will know.if u anyhow spend,drive a car,she will think 3k is nothing to u but if u always remind her to save cos money is hard to earn and must keep for their future and u spend most of the thing in a thrifty way,she might not request for 3k
this is from my own experience and my way of brainwash her,always make her think i am not rich even though i am a singaporean,just average only from the first day i know her

bro golden question - yup..i never give her the impression i am a spendthrift or rich... even when my jeans got hole, i still wear never buy new one...
seldom spend on lavish stuff...she is also quite thrifty when shopping for household , always check price first and her clothes also if ex, she dun really buy... she ask her mum to make in VN then if got frens come to SIN , then ask them help bring over...
now i know why my dad control my income and dun allow me to drive his car even though when he not ard.... i realise his "ku xin" now...
