No payslip but you still can file your tax return as Self-Employed. Better to pay abit of tax as it would be easier in the if you wanna apply STSVP/LTSVP in future.

Hi bros, apart from what are listed by bro mahalosux, i read from the ICA website that we need a letter from the employer granting leave of absence if she is employed and we need a copy of the household booklet(hu kou zhen) if she is unemployed. This is only applicable to PRCs. I understand that this booklet is only in Mandarin. Once i call ICA and they told me it must be official translated. So any bro know where to have it translated and the cost? Anyone face same problem as me? Regards!

If I'm not wrong, you are refering to the application of STSVP (Short term social visit pass). Entry requirements for immigration to Singapore for foreigners requires a valid travel document (6 months minimum), a return ticket or entry facilities to the next destination and sufficient funds to stay in Singapore. Singapore has two different assessment levels for nationals who require visa applications and you can find out to which group your gerfrd belong to. I assume if your ger is from PRC then please refer to here. Security Deposit if I'm not wrong should be 1K for STSVP.

As for translation of official document like her household identity (Hu Kou Ben) you can go to cross street (Near Subordinate Court, beside family court) to have your document translated. Forget the charges liao, paiseh, shld be >$20 per copy.

Hi bro Rof|maoxz, thanks for your info. And yes, my gf is from PRC. Some bro mention that it is not really a must to submit this household booklet, but last time when i call ICA, the lady told me that it is a must! Or else they will not accept the application. Any bro here can enlighten me?

For STSVP (PRCs), the security deposit shld be maintained @ 1K. (Sponsored by local guarantor)
