Thanks for update...Generally I think every where in China is Expensive. CP I think only because of convenience (got Rail way station) & many Htl. There is no way to find cheap KTVs with reasonable prices & MM tips..
Wat I would suggest is for those who want cheong, can arrange outside gals to go together to KTV, this way all tips go to the MMs & can have better negotiation. The problems with these is Most Gals outside expect U pay "Tips" for whole nite, U don't get a choice, whether wan the gal to sit only or bring back. Also Tis gals usually ar not well dress

I agree, on my trip to CP 2 mths ago, i pick up a ktv girl from Lihao for ST.
She claim that she prefer serving singapore and malaysia guys instead of hongkie and taiwanese. Her reason being that sg and malaysia guys usually tip her more.
Next trip to CP will try to go to KTV only hongkies and taiwanese go as the girls expectation will not be higher.
