The last time I went Kuala Lumpur, I have tried Madam Kwan’s and totally fell in love with it. The Nasi Lemak, Curry Vegetables, Brinjals and Chendol were so good that I am craving for it every now and then.
So when I got to know that Grandma’s dishes were whipped by a former chef from KL’s Madam Kwan, I went to have my lunch there.

Before I went for lunch, I did my workout in the gym so I told myself that I should eat something lighter, or else the calories I burnt will go to drain. But it was a mistake, because we ended up not ordering the specialties of the restaurant.
I ordered Seafood Hor Fun, it was not bad, had nice wok hei. But I kinda regretted later because I think I can get something similar with a cheaper price at zi char stalls.

And because we weren’t full, we order a plate of Tahu Goreng to share too. Grandma’s rendition of Tahu Goreng is abit different, instead of having a thick sweet sauce with peanut, they used bright red chilli sauce.
I knew I didn’t do justice to the restaurant, I would still want to give it another chance. I will be back to try the Assam Fish Head, Nasi Lemak and Chendol!

Ps Ps, cockeye nvr see it no wonder looks so familiar!! it's always closed when I always want to try it.

There's a long stretch of nice food at that area
