I have just returned from HCM and thought that I might share a good place for massage with the brothers here.

1. Was at Liberty 4 Hotel on October 2008.
Location: 265 Pham Ngu Lao Street, Dist 1
Cost: USD 8 for 60 minutes of foot massage and 60 minutes for body massage.
Tips (Compulsory): USD 3 for foot massage and 100,000 Vietnam Dong for body massage.
Fruit Juices: USD 1.50 per glass
For HJ (Inclusive of compulsory tips): Range from 300,000 Vietnam Dong to USD 25 depending on your negotation skills and your urge. Most of my friends paid 300,000 Vietnam Dong even when they requested for USD 30 for HJ.
Massage skill: Not bad when compared with most of the TN and HC in Singapore.
Lookwise: Range from 6 to 8.
You cannot get to choose the girls if the room is full but most of the girls have average look of about 7 and with good body and smooth skin.......what else can we ask for? Some girls will allow you for autoroam and french kiss. However HJ have to be covered with the towel as the door has a glass.

Facilities: Sauna, Steam Bath, Jacuzzi and TV. (The foot massage was conducted in front of the TV room and if you are lucky, you may get a pretty girl to massage you with your leg rested on her thigh occassionally. However there is no hanky here as all foot massage are conducted there.)
Additional informations: This is a unisex massage center. Open 24 Hours. My friends and I went there at about 1 am and I am not sure whether it is cheaper or more expensive after midnight. But the room is quite crowded even in early morning.



2. Was at Huong Sen Hotel few days ago.
Location: 66-70 Dong Khoi Street, Dist 1
Cost: 150,000 Vietnam Dong for 60 Minutes of massage but the counter boy charged us 120,000 Vietnam Dong saying he liked us and thus gave us discount. (But we did not tip him)
Tips (Compulsory): No idea as my friend and I opt for HJ.
For HJ (Inclusive of compulsory tips): Range from 200,000 Vietnam Dong to 300,000 Vietnam Dong depending on your negotation skills and your urge.
My girl quoted me 1,000,000 Vietnam Dong and I was darned pissed off...... In the end I paid 300,000 Vietnam Dong as I said I always paid 300k Vietnam Dong at other massage center and I will stand firm......We negotiated for about 10 mintues and the feeling is good as she will try her best to autoroam you and arouse your sexual needs while she pushed down her price to 300k Vietnam Dong......
My friend is the best. When his girl quoted him 500,000 Vietnam Dong, He said he is only willing to pay 10,000 Vietnam Dong. He got a good laugh when the vietnam girl nearly fell off with a stunned look after he quoted 10k vietnam dong. In the end, he settled for 200k vietnam dong.
Massage skill: Good when compared with Liberty 4 Hotel.

At first I thought she was a working lady there and I wanted her......luckily before I open my mouth.......she started chatting with her friends....It was then I realised that she is a singapore tourist......sigh.........


Conclusion:
Average total: damage at Liberty 4: 60 minutes of foot massage, 60 minutes of body massage, facilities, compulsory tips and HJ: USD 8 + USD 3 + 300k Vietnam Dong = equivalent to SGD 46.

Average total: damage at Huong Sen Hotel: 60 minutes of body massage, facilities, compulsory tips and HJ: 120k Vietnam Dong + 300k (or 200k) vetnam Dong = equivalent to SGD 40 or SGD 30.

Huong Sen Hotel body massage is better than Liberty 4 Hotel. But Liberty 4 is more value for money as you only paid between SGD 6 to 16 more to have additional 60 mintues of foot massage and the most important thing is you have more pretty girls there and you can watch live soccer while having foot massage at the same time.

normally for tips, i dont negotiate. i just offer 200,000 VND all the time. i asked my local frens and they give btw 100 to 200K. it is with the foreigners that they try to push their luck. if all brrudders heading to hcmc keeps to the 100 to 200K mark, then we will make a a trend that all sillypore brudders pay standard tips....no need negotiate liao.

I really get turned off when the girl thinks she can chop carrothead as I'm a foreigner. I don't negotiate. I pay market rate only. Take it or leave it. Usually I'll just get the thing done and over with asap as I feel the "fun" factor is not there anymore. I don't like to waste time and just move on.

Everywhere Singaporeans go, service providers will like them because most are carrotheads! Seen it China, Thailand, Vietnam, etc. I believe Singaporeans rank in second with Japanese being the champions!
