Just back from France, and knowing that Tsuyoyi is in France now, as I helped him to book a hotel in Paris. It was damned cold there during the last two days of my stay, and with no one to warm my bed. In addition, knowing that place too much also makes me sick of it., although Paris is really a nice place. You want Chinese girls, go to District 19, they are in the bars, and if you speak Mandarin, it would be an advantage. I did not try as there are other possibilities.

A novice "tourist" going to SH for couple of days will able to find fun thru the leads here.....I don't see why you cannot.

Xin Huai Hai
After reading the invaluable info in this thread finally got a chance to visit Shanghai for a night. Since it was a Sunday I decided to visit the "massage parlour" at Xin Huai Hai.
Checked in, looked up the address in the local yellow pages, scribbled it down. Had dinner with colleagues, and while they decided to go buy DVD, I jumped into a cab.
Found the plc after circling the area, apparently Huai Hai Rd stretches a bit so it's easier if you tell them Huai Hai Rd next to Shun Chang Rd, that way they can pinpoint the location.
Went to 2nd level, had a quick shower and directed up to 3rd floor. Got there went straight into rm 303. Was advised of the charges and asked to wait. 5 mins later in came no.65 Xiao Hong. Not a regular cheonger so can't rate the experience. All in all, it's been an interesting experience.
The walls are thin I can say that much, the other rm had a girl who was moaning from the moment I stepped into the room till I was done with no.65.
Sat down to have a cuppa tea before goin down to wash up and leave.
Thank you for all the info here. Will try Cheng Huang Miao the next time.

Are you looking for Taiwanese-style teahouse (modern Taiwanese coffee house)? There are quite a number in Shanghai operated mainly by Taiwanese.

What kinda of teahouse u guys r referring to eh?
Heard from a Tawanese friend of mine here in Shanghai that there are some teahouses/restaurants around GuBei, Hong Qiao Area that offers "sitting gals" or GROs similiar to those who dine & wine there la....at a mere RMB 100.00.

After which, whoever wants to bring out for 'special' or to keep him company for the rest of night, separate charges applies.

Might be checking out later this outlets either late this week or mid next week with my Taiwanese friend here who will lead the way....stay tuned for FR...
