I just came back from Ulaan Bataar yesterday. Here's my FR and recommendations. PS: It was my 1st time there..

Part 1

Basically finding chicks isn't difficult. After talking to my Mongolian customers, the population ratio of men to woman is on average 1:6. Another place to recommend apart from Golden Banana Strip Club and Bangkok KTV is Strings - A Hard-Rock cafe styled pub/disco with a lot of FLs there. To date they have been sms-ing me rather often, and I heard from my customer that sending overseas sms is very expensive as they use prepaid cards.

Anyway, it's more or less confirmed already. I'm going there during winter . he he he...

For those who wanna go there. Either go by SQ from SIN - PEK and from PEK take Air Mongolia / Air China to Ulaan Bataar. I'd seriously recommend Air Mongolia because their pilots got more guts to fly. ha ha.

Of course SQ will be expensive..> 1.3k for tix price as from SIN-PEK as compared to <1K if you take Air China all the way from SG.

But taking Air China from Beijing has more conveniences as you don't have to check out of the Immigration and re-checkin again when taking Air Mongolia.

However, Air China is very 'kia-see'. Will anyhow delay / postpone your flight. In my last trip, Air China delayed my flight by 9 hours. Lucky, I was informed by my colleague who encountered the same issue before.

So instead of checking in at the airport. I got the hotel to call the Air China line first. And true enough, the flight was delayed due to reasons of bad weather, which I also agree as it was also snowing slightly with gusty winds during check out day.

So guys, I'd strongly recommend that you try Mongolia at least once in your life. If you are really lucky to be able to handle China clients / stay in China. Do take the opportunity to go there to cheong. It's worth it.

hi bros, i will be making a trip there sometime in july. i guess staying at the byongol as this is my usual joint. when i first started going there in 2001, hardly any bros there. now there seem to be lots of expats as well. most convinent way is by air china going up, but coming back there is a 9hr wait for your connecting flight. i usually check out of the airport and go to a nearby hotel and sleep till 9pm and head back to the airport. the other way is to go via korean air and inchon airport. i afraid to fly miat as i heard their pilots worse than chinese pilots.
